that's all so interesting and incredibly heartbreaking... my heart goes for all the people forced in that place, hope we all keep learning to never make the same mistakes again. may they rest in peace

First time seeing an actual Asylum up close. Being abandoned gave me a darker image of it. Loved this exploration. Hope you can explore some of those abandoned schools or universities next. Or any buildings abandoned for 50 or a 100 years, that would be a sight to see.

Your voice is amazing! So soothing and really adds to the atmosphere. Such a gentle look at this place rather than the usual yelling and nonsense ❤️ Love how you explain things too. Much appreciated.

If you ever want to read True stories written by disabled people who were subjected To the horrors of this place there’s a book called the state boys rebellion written by some of the surviving men that lived in one of these institutions.

if this place was closed in ‘79 it’s scary to think that there were people still living and working here in the ‘70s😧😰
@hayley1832 жыл бұрын
A lot of asylums were still running into the early 90s. It is scary to think people were living like that, not actually all that long ago in the grand scene of things

For the nursery room, I hope that it was originally used for something else, because why else would you have such a lock on the nursery door😧

I wonder why they don’t demolish all these properties that have been there for over 10 years, it’s quite obvious they aren’t reopening, why keep all that rubble 🤔
@rachelbryant57623 жыл бұрын
It’s probably just the cost of doing it. Because these older buildings are so full of lead and asbestos it’s very costly to properly demolish and get rid of the materials.

Love all the videos but sometimes I feel like the focus on certain things is too in depth. I don't need to see paint peeling and an empty room with peeling paint for 45+ straight seconds. However, I do love the stories and detail. I just wanna see more creepy stuff and less wheelchairs and peeling paint😂💜

Because of my ADHD I can definitely struggle with hyper focusing on certain aspects of the explore a bit too much and it’s definitely something I’m trying my best to work on both while filming and also in editing out!
