Join me at the site of the former Holbrook Colliery in Halfway, Sheffield. The site closed as a colliery in 1944, but the buildings remained until the 1960s when they were demolished, but the workmen left a lot behind. The Remains of this old colliery now lay in a dense woodland and have been totally forgotten and hidden out of site for many years.
We explore the site and find some very interesting parts of this old mine that once employed over 1,000 men.
