Seems like Lego is missing a great opportunity to make money. I get they have a nothing “war” related policy, but maybe they could do an adult line? It’s clear that many of the castle style stuff is highly sought after. If they released a castle line in stores it would sell for sure. I’d be willing to bet if they did Roman themed sets they would also do well.

Was surprised you didn’t go over the D&D CMF line. That Wolfpack Beast Master will be the most sought after and expensive one for sure! I got lucky and snagged 3 of them right as my local Target was restocking. I would still like to get a few more. The Army Builders and Scalpers make it tough to find the stuff though.

@@fossil-bit8439 we managed to get 3 as well at walmart when they brought out a fresh box! As for the D&D they are one of our fav cmf lines but this video excludes licensed sets just the regular lego cmf. We're working on a separate video for the licensed cmf so stay tuned :)

@@MrAskmannen I wanted five mostly because I have four children who like to play with Legos and I thought it would be nice for each of us to have our own. Also I wanted to be able to make a full pack of five wolves for MOC builds. Additionally it’s fun to play around with customizing mini figs. I never bad mouthed Army Builders or Scalpers. I simply said it’s hard to find the figs because they dedicate time to hunt for these figures… although I do think scalping isn’t the most moral way to make money, but I get it. I resell stuff from Garage sales and thrift stores all the time to fund my hobbies. It sounds to me like you are a scalper and got your feelings hurt over my comment…

Series 18 is commemorative of the 40th anniversary of the Minifigures. The policeman was the first and there was only one per case, reason why is the most expensive one. Same thing happened with the hp series with Percival Graves / Gellert Grindelwald Minifigures, one per case.

Fun video! Thanks for sharing. There are patterns to the higher pricing: - Army building minifigures such as Romans and knights as well as callbacks to popular themes: - Classic Space related - Forestmen related - Wolfpack related I have been collecting minifigures since 1993, so of course got the CMFs when they came out in 2010. I only get ones I like or that have parts that appeal to me, not every CMF. Still, I have most of the highest value ones from each series. I ❤️ minifigures

I just ordered a bunch of CMFs, plan on ordering more. I absolutely love this idea. You get variety for a decent price, ability to customize, expand characters in your Legoverse. Just a great idea. Glad that they’ve put the codes on the boxes so you can scan and know what’s inside. Some of my favorites have been the Snow Guardian, Rogue, Hun Warrior, Falconer (but the Falcon itself doesn’t look good), Goatherder, and Vampire Knight. The D&D series has been great!and I’m still waiting to get some Wolfpack Beastmasters… the hunt continues 😂

48:10 It's the space baby. I've been looking into buying the nurse android figure herself (as she's very Cortana-like) and noticed that her value plummets if she's being sold seperately from the space baby. Oftentimes, the baby by itself sells for more than the figure it's supposed to come with lol. If we exclude her on the basis of the space baby, the most valuable fig in Series 26 would be the Ice Planet one, of which I am thankful to have gotten two of through the six packs. Mid-90s space doesn’t get nearly the same attention as it's predecessors. ;-;

I didn’t (re)get into Lego until 2015. I got in as series 12 was on shelves. And of course I still missed out on stuff later. I don’t know why I didn’t snap up some medieval stuff. But then I didn’t realize how much I love Castle until later.

I think I heard once that the Bumblebee Girl's rairty is simply down to scarcity. Each box of 60 only included 1-2 Bumblebee Girls, where normally a figure would have 2-5 copies per box

Nice overview. I have collected all the series apart from 4. I put them all on display which just looks amazing; my wall of cmf's. I do not care much about all the extra series. Perhaps when i have all the cmf series, i will start collecting them 😅 i know that taking them out of the wrap influences the value, but it is just too cool not to do it. I have thought of buying 2 sets to keep 1 closed, but for me it is a toy to (dis)play

Bumblebee surprised me. Only got into CMF this year. My favorite figure this year is the vampire knight. I have bought over 150 of him. He is getting more and more expensive so I've stopped collecting more. Have to save some cash for the other castle factions.

When I bought the ladybug from series 21, I thought it would be cool to get the bumblebee to go with it. I guess sellers were anticipating that because that was when the price for the bumblebee went up.

The Policeman from Series 18 is expensive because there was only 1 per box. They did the same with one of the Harry Potter figures from one of the series for those movies. We have all series complete since Series 16 (including the licensed ones), as I was good at feeling out what was in the bags ... well, we skipped the space one (only got 2 of the figures for that one).

Duing Series 4 zombie movies were super popular. Hazmat Suit fig was scalped by zombie movie fans. Also they were making stop motion movies with lego minifigures and that suit guy was one of those character tropes "workers from laboratory that were infected first"

Series 20 tournament knight was far too expensive on the used market. I tried Aliexpress, I got 3 with chest armour along with crow plume shoulder armour shield, horse, cape and double sided flag. Really good quality, was very impressed £6.12 free shipping shipping.

A lot of the expensive ones are the ones that are used by a lot of mocist for mediaeval moc or space moc or any historical minifigures as they get a lot of the figures for the moc and also ones like to do with advance in your life, like marriage or graduation and it’s funny and annoying as when your kid you’re not looking for those historical mini figures but the cool ones in the series but in the future if you want to complete the series now you got these less desirable figures that you need to get to complete the series that you didn’t want when you’re younger 😤
