The NY Moors is yet another stunning area of England. Most of my time there has been exploring The NYM Railway. I am certain, on another visit, you would enjoy combining trips on The Railway with walks exploring the Moors. When I was in The Armed Forces, we were taught foraging techniques by a local lady who was absolutely brilliant. I loved her chats. Sadly she has gone now. When I am back on The Moors maybe I will book a tour with Lucy. I do think, as the World is being changed in so many ways, that a return to “the old ways and skills” of our forefathers will be of great benefit to us. In fact our very survival may depend on it. Watching Oslo run freely on the beach reminded me of my own Collies who were real Fell dogs (like Oslo) but also really enjoyed the surf. Happy memories. All the best to all 3/4 of you.😊

We are fortunate to live in the area . Never tire of it whatever the season. Spoilt for choice with the coast on one side and the NYM national park on the other. RHB in August was packed. Following week we visited Rosedale on a hot day and the sun was relentless, no shade at the top of chimney bank plenty of people about yet never felt overwhelmed. A beautiful day in God's own county.

Wow, 2 videos this week! I love how you capture the beauty of where you live. I love how you opened the first video this week with that big hill behind your home, then the three hills a little later. In the video today on your walk in the country side, seeing the purple heather in the distance was stunning (on a 65” tv). Then looking down into valley was amazing, there were some trees! Anyway it was cute Oslo found a friend. This was a great way to start my Sunday morning, with coffee…

Excuse me for asking, but the woolly jumpers you're both wearing at 4 minutes in look really comfy. The wider, rolled neck looks like it would avoid the itchy, scratchy problem. I don't suppose you can remember where they came from? (And, I guess this is "influencing" in action...)
