As a local from Oran, I have noticed that foreign tourists are not well oriented during their local tourist circuit. They are only directed towards Mount Murdjadjo or rue de la Bastille. In Oran, there is also the Ahmed Zabana museum, the fortresses, the Roman ruins of Bethioua, the coast and the mountains of Kristel, the Canyons of Tafraoui, the sand dunes of Port aux Poules, the lakes and wetlands, Oum Ghilez or Lake Telamine for example, the eastern districts of the city El Yasmine or Akid Lotfi, Canastel, the mountain of lions, the Madagh and M'sila fonts, the SNTF station, the bey's palace, the Ibn Badis mosque , the universities, the green theater, the seafront bd, sidi M'Hamed, the maritime fringe of Fernand Ville, the public garden of M'dina Jdida, the bullfighter in El Kmhul, the beaches, the fishing port, the Habibas Islands, the thermal spring of Ain Franine.......

You can't do that in a short span of time, most tourists wull spend 1 day at Oran or 2 top, and they also want to rest and have lunch, so it is more convenient to do the highlights of the city.

Can you believe that he starts his video by going to Santa cruise when he can't show anything because its foggy. The next thing, he goes to an old crappy place like Derb. Out of all these places, he goes to derb ? I wonder if he has a malicious motive behind this move. I don't trust this guy. I feel that he is racist and most of his videos are full of stereotypes and the Algerian sheepis trust in him and can't understand the stereotypes he makes about Algeria.

Although Algeria has no strategy to promote its touristic highlights , there are some people from abroad like you guys who decided to think otherwise and show the beauty of Algeria as it is, sincere smiles and beautiful words coming straight from hearts; with no commercial thoughts behind. Please continue visiting the country and try to head up to Tlemcen and the beautiful desert in the south. The algerian Sahara is by far the most beautiful Sahara in the planet. Franchement je suis d'origine algérienne mais je trouve cette ville immonde, sale, ces marchés bondés m'écoeurent, le fast food ou elle a pris une karentika est horrible et crado dégueulasse, aucune hygiène, les gens sont mal habillés, en claquette, des femmes voilées partout, on dirait l'Afghanistan, les rues et trottoirs sont détruits, les bâtiments même pas entretenus ou ravalé ! J'ai mal au coeur je trouve que l'Algérie était plus moderne dans les années 70 ! Et ces mecs on dirait qu'ils ont jamais vu une meuf et ces gens on dirait qu'il n'ont jamais vu des touristes ! C'est hallucinant de régresser autant, limite je veux même pas que des touristes viennent car on s'affiche à présenter un pays autant ravagé ! On a même l'impression que l'Algérie est en guerre par moment ça me désespère sérieux quand je compare avec nos voisins ou la Turquie ou les pays du golfe ou même certains pays d'Afrique noire on est grave à la ramasse !
