I agree with this! Need to export a dataset every day while managing multiple accounts, but not all end users of the report can receive the export so currently having to manually click the button every day

You can create an automated flow directly in Power Automate with this same data set. You will get the option to schedule and Automate with all available triggers.

Great video. I tried this and added a switch condition to the power automate flow. Basically if client name was X send email 1 if client name is Y send email 2. It got stuck in a loop! 600 emails later I cancelled the flow. Seems to work as long as there is only one linear flow without conditions. Is there a way round this, so you can add switch or other conditions?

The Power BI Dataset Refresh action is used to sync the Excel workbook and the dataset. The source of the dataset is the workbook. Do you know if these simpler flows like this require "run only" users to have a special Power Automate license or anything? I could imagine giving this to an entire sales team could start to pile up in cost. Also, is it possible to add AD groups or distribution lists to the "Run Only" users?

I love this new visual, currently setting up a report that people can use it for to pre-populate some people review forms. I just wish the permissions for running the flow could be a bit smarter. I'd ideally love to be able to either give access to run it to everyone in my organisation and/or everyone who has access to the report. Just a slight pain that I'll have to manage another security list for something that is only ever going to be embedded in a report that I already control access to anyway. As you say, I'm not lazy, just efficient lol
