Amazing video. I have been to Moosonee on the Ontario side, but it's by train, unless the ice road is open. This Taiga looks like something I would love to do.

I've often looked at this road on the map and wondered what I'd see if I drove it. Thanks for showing the remote beauty of this part of the country, I now have a new adventure to add to my list!

I did the Trans Taïga few months back, as prepared as I thought I was. I wasn't!! Gas and beer is all you need, Matagami & Radisson are the only two places you can get it, everything is dry out there, every little town. Remember, Gas is easier to get than beer. Matagami or Radisson.

Thanks for a nice video.I loved the drone shots, especially the high altitude ones looking at the terrain far ahead. I grew up in northern Wisconsin (quite rural) and had summer jobs in pipeline maintenance and land surveying; both took us far into the boondocks. But it was nothing compared with your travels on the trans taiga - not even close. Well done.

Nice job! In a Crosstrek no less, I run a Crosstrek too. Was planning on doing this last June but the wildfires closed everything down and we couldn't go. What time of year did you go?
