The Gospel is not just for white Europeans and Jesus Christ offers eternal salvation to all everywhere as a free gift to be received by faith alone. @109 Countries Yes, racial differences exist and God saw to it that there is diversity in His human creation. However, those same differences are not to be exaggerated and it is only a tiny variation in a single chromosome that accounts for distinctive racial characteristics. It is my belief that the racial distinctions only came about after God confounded the attempt to build the Tower of Babel and it was language first how He divided up the peoples of the earth. The physical distinctions probably emerged afterward as the people divided up by language adapted to the climatic conditions of where they moved to in the post-deluvian world. People stand or fall before their Creator as individuals and not by belonging to a racial collective. I'm all for people taking pride in their history, heritage and culture but this does not have to be racially delineated and is more affected by upbringing and socialisation. Indeed, one can hold to dual or even more heritages and be a patriotic citizen of the nation they were born into without clash or contradiction. Ethnically I'm primarily and predominantly white Irish but with other infusions along the way and stick me in the sun for a few days, I soon turn a reddish brown tincture. The most important marker that God is concerned about is whether one is saved or lost depending on what they do with His Son Jesus who is the Christ. I'm just not going to buy into hyper-racialized identitarian politics whether it comes from the ethno-nationalist right or the woke left. First and foremost as a saved believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, my citizenship is in Heaven and this is what matters most for someone whatever their race.

I attended a “Christian Assembly” for many years until I immigrated. I never felt that it was like a sect or had strict rules. The only rules we followed were the normal Christian rules from the Bible. The only thing that you might call exclusive was if a stranger visited our church they couldn’t break bread with us unless we were certain that they were born again Christians. The women would have a head cover during a sermon out of respect to their place as written in 1 Corinthians 11, I never saw that as I problem even though I didn’t see that as some thing that should apply to the church in our western countries where it never was a tradition in the first place. But I didn’t want to want to be a stumbling block for especially the older followers, I actually liked hats and lace scarfs.

Ravenism/Raven/Simington/Taylor/Hales brethren went off the rails with FE Raven's teachings. Denied the eternal Sonship of Christ. Characterized by mysticism, man-centeredness, and elitism. My great great grandfather wrote about them (AH Rule) when they split off back in the day. Compared them to Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, etc. He was wrong. They are much worse.

Our town has Plymouth Bretheren here. A church, a school, medical facility. They own a feed supply here but hate animals and pets. They are trying to buy up as much property as possible here. Cats and dogs go missing frequently online. It makes me wonder if they are killing peoples pets that get out of the yard? I'm sorry but they seem to be a hateful cult to me.

Nonsense! The Bible says we were called into the church (one body) to have freedom not being chained with anything Col. 3:15-16. The bible serves as a guide for Christians to follow so that they won't break the principles of their salvation, not as law. The bible itself also says that the strength of sins is the law 1 Cor. 15: 56. Law is a devil trap to so many Christians and a workshop for tribulations. The more you begin to realize things, the better for you. The funniest part is that they should have used 'The Exclusive brethren' as the name not adding those tautologies words as Plymouth Brethren Christian Bible Gospel Church, The names are funny. Who are the Plymouth? Who are the brethren? Who are the Christians? Who are the Church? What are the differences between them? Please! Please! Go back to that Bible and rightly divide the word of truth that will lead to salvation from the way you think it should be (living beyond your life). Your doctrinal practices towards new testament principles is 30%. I can't even recommend the best enemy of mine to be a member there.

This is insane. You might as well call the Baptist Church a cult. I am not a religious person now but I grew up going to Sunday School at Turner Road church in Windsor Ontario and if reading the Bible and teaching kids the difference between good and evil is now considered cult-like, then I give up on the modern world. The biggest problem is that it's not just leaving the EBs. If you do leave you are cut off totally from family and friends. 3 things hold the EBs together is family, fear and finance. I know...it was in it once.

@@BriggsArt A lot depends on which group of Exclusive Brethren you have had contact with. If it those who follow Jim Taylor and the current leader Bruce Hales then they are far from welcoming. There are other groups of EB in the UK who do not hold such extreme views on separation. My experience goes back to 1966 where my father was not allowed to go to he brothers funeral who was had left the EBs who followed Jim Taylor. I perusal the effects that the EBs at that time had on people even to the point that one brother who I knew killed his wife and 3 children and hung himself because he was shut up by the leaders. The current EBs who follow Bruce Hales are just as strict as in 1966 but they have backed down a bit with family members who are not in the EBs. I think they are worried about the Charity Commission taking away their 25% tax back! They ignore me if I see them in the street. I guess your contract must be with an off shoot of the EBs. Some are called the Renton Brethren or the Frost Brethren.
