One quick question I don't quite understand on boost gear with 9 modes of pedal assist does mode 1 have a cap of like 10mph or something? I'm wondering if for a newer rider you wanted to let ride would that be the best setting? I think the torque out the box might be too much for a lot of people who never rode a bike before. So if you set them off on pas 0 it's no throttle but would 1 or 2 on the 1-9 be a good starting setting? I like the zero start option for newbies. Bike looks amazing.

yes, have 9 is better and reduce speed limit to 20 and start strength to 1

welcome, if you mean to have pedal assist on 0 selection that is not possible for safety reason. i think the video should have the option to select throttle only or pas or both .

Is there a way to Password Protect JUST the settings, not the turning the bike on? I would want to be able to limit the speed for my teenager, and prevent him from changing it.

That's a good idea. I am not 100% sure if you can set up passwords for changing the speed only. You might want to read the display manual to learn it

No, I don't see anything wrong with this batch. I like the front tire 4.5 look, and the rear blinkers are not a big deal for me. I hope the watts and voltage can be updated through firm wear over Bluetooth. I might get power goat as 2 seater since it will have dual suspension.

In the latest batch of the motor goat v3, there is now a 70v option under the Voltage_Level menu. Do u think it's ok to set it to that or should I stick to 60v? Do u think it makes a difference like more power output, faster battery drain, range, etc, depending on where u set it? Also, ImBruceEclectic said to just keep it at default and don't touch it, but when I refer back to the display manuel, it says the default is actually 48v. At 48v setting, will it still give the bike the top speed and power that we want tho?? Thanks.

ive noticed this as well on the display for 70v. also i noticed the preload adjuster looks very different. the new one doesnt seem to adjust, and if you do manage to spin it, it just unscrews like a cap.

@@itsdanhuuhh5677 Yep. The preload adjuster on the front fork is absent on mine too(just a cap), so u can't adjust the rebound level. Just the compression on the right fork. Also, how can we tell if the batteries are now Samsung? It doesn't say 'Samsung' anywhere on the batteries. And updated controller? How can u tell the difference?

@@mkeonine Bryson emailed me and said if your screen has the 70v setting, it should be set to that. also there is no preload on the front fork. i havent asked about the updated battery cells yet.
