My 2 great uncle's were the ones depicted on the movie being blown up and my other great uncle was on liberty and saw his brother being blown overboard so he jumped in the firery water and they floated just under the water until they got saved. Jeff Cagle Rip great uncle's Prothro

How come there’s no bones or anything? Did they take them out or are the divers just not showing them? No disrespect just curious about what underwater graves do to a body does it all decompose?

Most of the remains that could be recovered were. Of course many were incinerated by the hollocaustic explosion while others were removed during salvage. The crew of turret one, the engine room crew are deffinately still there. Out of the total compliment of 1,177 dead there are approx 80 bodies and 38 inturred in turret barbette four still on Arizona.

Late to reply but many bodies were left in the ship as removal, because of the damage, made it impossible. In time, any remains will be erased and actual human penetration into the hull is prohibited. If any remains still exist, I don't think they would show them out of respect for the fallen.
