I live in Fort Collins Co. I'm not fond of heights. I burst out laughing when your son said, " Hey Mom, its a lot worse than it looks". Kudos to Andrea for facing her fear of heights. Glad to have had you here in Colorado. Years ago, my sister and brother in law lived in Bryan TX, (like you). They moved here.

I was amazed how Andrea drove on the one lane up the mountain. Wow! I remember when we moved from Ontario to B.C. in 1969 and crossing the Rockies. There wasn't much room on either side of the road. It was just like Andrea and her family experienced.

Seattle born. I love seeing people experience green and mountains who don’t usually. It reminds me how lucky i am to live in a postcard. I loved my few trips to texas though, a completely different version of beautiful. Thanks for sharing the joy of seeing new 🥰

I'm in my sixties and America has always been a country I've had no desire to visit. Due to the shows and movies , there seems to be so much crime. This vlog was an eye opener. Around every corner was a postcard scene, so beautiful. Thanks so much for showing me the beauty that exists there, and the cabins are fantastic. Can't wait for the next part of the journey, enjoy every moment.

I have never seen Colorado but you people ventured really deeply into some magnificent scenery. It's amazing how many rivers and streams and falls run through that cavernous region. Obviously you're not afraid of heights. I am deeply afraid of heights but don't mind watching others doing the trekking. Amazing cabin too. Lots of family fun and memories for a lifetime. Those hot springs indicate volcanic life underneath the area. We have Kahneeta Hot Springs in Oregon which is a highly volcanic region but with incredible mountains and Cascades. Good filming DIY Family.

I went to Estes Park and Pike's Peak in 1979. We stayed at a cottage. I never did the sight seeing you guys did. We went to a couple of small towns like Littleton and Golden. We are from Ontario, so we flew down and rented a car.
