Okay guys. I've watched several other "sailing vlogs" and I've decided, yours is the best. Your channel is fun and exciting, but most of all, you show all of us how to live the dream you are currently living. It's great to see how you deal with the daily problems of sailing and boat repair, while still living your dream.

Watching this in November after Puerto Rico was so terribly devastated by this summer's hurricanes, is definitely bitter sweet. I've made four trips to Puerto Rico, the Turks & Caicos, Tortola in the BVIs, St. Thomas and St. John in the American Virgin Islands and poor Barbuda for the American Society of Civil Engineers as part of the infrastructure evaluation study for the UN/World Bank. The devastation is literally unimaginable in all the northern Caribbean and I am working mainly on large infrastructure projects: the power grid, the communications grid, roads and bridges and water supply. Loving your videos but the shadow cast by the unforeseen approach of Irma and Maria casts a pall over the sweet innocence of your adventures. Be well guys. Glad to see the windless installation. Long overdue! Writing this from aboard my Swan 68 here in Greenwich, CT as we prepare for a long term trip to our place in Tortola. Hope to see you in our travels!

Great video. When I was in 8th and 9th grade, I used to cut classes and do the very same walks you did in Old San Juan, but back then it was rough at night. Now at 61, all I think is to finish my boat refit and head there, but to the west coast, not San Juan, and the rest of the lesser Antilles islands. Fair winds.

I really do hope you have some time to really explore in all directions from san juan. if you do make it out left, please stop and say hi to rincon for me.

Thanks for visiting my Puerto Rico. To add to the story of La Garita del Diablo it is also said that the soldiers used this spot to flee to the mainland to scape from the army and live in the villages inland where they can find more food and a better life than in the fort. I have been following you since your first video and have enjoyed every one of them, keep the good work. Next time in the island try the caribbean (south) shore of the island you will enjoy it a lot. Blessings for you boht and fair winds.
