The Great Indian Trail is a collection of curated routes panning 35,000 kilometres across India, primarily through back roads and trails. Offering an alternative to main highways, the GRIT encourages exploration, slow travel and more immersive experiences.
A few friends and I spent a week riding our motorcycles through a few of the routes in the Karnataka section of the Great Indian Trail. This was a road trip unlike any other, that took us deep into the Western Ghats in all its glory. Watch the video to know more.

I guess this is a sign of life coming full circle. It was many years ago that Vir Nakai had mentioned you. I'm a fellow lawyer who was figuring out my journey to get away from the law and hit the open roads. I hadn't watched your stuff until today. What you've brought to light through this video is what I've been an advocate for. I've always dreamt of doing a pan India trip & you've given me a sense of direction through the great Indian trail.
