Thank you for providing an honest viewpoint of some of the challenges when camping. As a previous Wrangler Rubicon JL owner, I appreciate how you don’t edit out the cabin noise. I think it is important for people to understand both the upside and downside to expensive purchases.

My family has been in Wyoming for generations and my grandfather ran a 15000 acre ranch. Nothing feels more like home than the mountains in Wyoming! The bugs depend on the year but the views never disappoint. I enjoyed this video very much.

@@SixOverland went back and watched this again as I've been planing a big trip summer 2025 and planning to do some hiking and overlanding. Did you go in June or July? I'm thinking of August and hopefully the bugs won't be as bad. Some of the hiking research I've done for the Wind River Rage they don't seem to be as bad then. Thanks again man, this video was one of the inspirations for that part of my trip!

@@sonsoflibertyoverland Awesome! This was in early August. We’d been told that the snow/rain was unusually late for the area. Wish we could give you a better time window. Thanks again for stopping by and sounds like an awesome trip you’ve got planned!

You should check out the Gravelly Range drive in Montana sometime, start in Ennis, head south over a 2 wheel drive road that climbs to a bit above 9K with killer views, and come out in the Centennial Valley, and head west, back to I-15 eventually.

I'm moving here in a few months. I've never looked forward to anything so much in my entire life. I'm actually surprised I didn't ride by on my ATV during this video, I was out there in the upper Green during the same time frame-ish. The flies were just as bad during the summer of 22 as well when I was out there. I agree, they are almost unbearable!

I live in Wyoming and have to deal with the biting flies and mosquitos every time i go fishing on creeks and rivers. There was one time they completely left me alone, it was the day after I got my J&J Covid shot. It was uncanny the peace I felt that trip. Unfortunately I was again the target the next fishing trip.
