Love all those old notes. I had a whole bunch of old notes and coins that unfortunately we're stolen when we moved countries. I have been to Italy. All I can say is, it was a busy holiday. So much to see there!

I've only ever visited Italy. When I was there, I did use those 100 Lira notes with Mrs. Montessori on them....

That's so cool! I wish I got to travel Europe pre-euro. It would of been so cool using all different moneys. 🖤

Loving the Irish note Caroline! you have such a fab collection. When I went to Bali in September they're now up to 100,000 rupiah notes! I kept some to bring back. xx

@@CAROCASH it was truly amazing! I went on a guided tour and met so many cool people and travelled all around the island, it’s such a beautiful place. Highly recommend! There was a guy there from Melbourne and he kept joking that it was like a 6hr flight for him and we had been travelling for days! 😂

I’ve never seen the 1 Rupiah banknote but I remember we still use the newer 100 rupiah when I was a kid.

Its funny you mention the conversion between the Yen and the Australian Dollar. I am in the US. I am watching this on my laptop. I have another tab open and tried to convert almost each currency to the US Dollar as you showed it. I find it quite interesting.

The Aussie dollar isn’t the best right now. Our $1 is buying $0.69c of usd. A great time for Americans to buy from countries like ours right now. 🖤

@@CAROCASH Ah, but if I buy directly from a business in your country the shipping costs scare me! 😳 Wonderful shipping. Even shipping costs within the US sometimes shock me.

The logo that you mention in Indonesia Money is BI, acronym of Bank Indonesia (the Bank that published Indonesia money) and from last year we have the new denomination 😁

I have been to Japan (stayed at the airport hotel overnight before going to London lol) and I went to Italy in 95, but my mum was in charge of the money haha. We didn't keep any. The note from Ireland is quite impressive!!
