I've hit these trails a bunch of times on my crf. The camera isn't doing the steepness of that hill justice.

it really doesnt haha that hill is sketchy and even more so when going up it or down it on a bike

Grew up on these trails a long time ago. Was literally just there the other day for the first time in ages to see what’s left and I was a little disappointed with how little traffic I see. Most trails are starting to disappear or turn into yuppie hiking trails. Any idea how to get around the huge marsh on the powerlines after crossing rt 4? Side trail I knew is gone.

same here! i started riding these trails when I was in highschool like 15 years ago. just picked up riding again last year and some of the trails have gone to shit unfortunately but most of it is intact. the trail that runs along the river was fine for a while but that big storm a could months ago dropped a bunch of trees on that trail. I live on the trails so Im planning on going back there with a saw to clear some stuff out. also after crossing rt 4 like the driving range? i cant remember there being a marsh and I was there last week I usually go up past the power station cross the next road and follow the trail till it gets to that neighborhood then trails pick back up on the power lines at the end of the neighborhood. where exactly is that marsh? and also yea im out there pretty frequently and maybe 1 out of every 3 times ill see people on the trails but i know what you mean cause when i was in HS there was always a ton of people on those trails.

Just tried going back there with a buddy of mine and there is a way to get around it but its hell on a dirt bike because of all the hidden ruts in the grass. if youre on top of that hill right before the marsh go under the power line tower and keep going straight through some brush till it opens up to a small trail and follow it to this open field (I think thats where the trail used to be) then follow the field down the hill and the powerline trail picks back up after you get around the marsh. Tried it on my dirt bike but I ate shit on one of the hidden ruts its hell lol quads should be ok though but ill keep looking for another way around thats less dangerous.

How come you never really go through the mud?
@BrobaFett249415 күн бұрын
most of the mud holes are mostly water and they go pretty deep and water kept getting in my belt box alot that day and I had to drain the belt box a few times that day because of my belt slipping so i just tried to avoid the big ones as much as possible that day lol
