Pretty solid places. I grew up in Southern York County (Stewartstown/Crossroads area). With all the growth the county is seeing, I still like Fawn Grove, Delta and New Park the most because it’s not over developed and the lots are so much bigger while being close to Bel Air/Baltimore and York. Great work.

I spent most of my life in York county. York city not so nice. If you go north a little bit between York and Harrisburg, you can find houses in all the price ranges and land sizes with properties taxes a lot lower than shown in this video. The cost of living is reasonable compared to the rest of the country. Plenty to do if you like to hunt or fish. Hiking , boating and skiing. Hershey medical is 30 minutes away. Traffic is fairly reasonable. A good place to raise a family.

Hey if you love traffic and congestion, York is for you. I attempted to get into the York Fair last year, spent 3 hours in traffic, they closed the parking lot to the fair while I was in traffic. I won't be back. York/Lancaster traffic is awful. The bypass has turned into a joke. Visit first before you make any decision.

The planners back in the 60s made a short sighted decision to add lights to keep the tourism dollars in York County. I think it is what I call the York complex... Always acting like a little brother of Lancaster and Adams County.

Every place has good and bad location's, west York City very congested ,many people live in public housing, run by people who don't care ,they make money off of people's very low income, if they would take care of the homes and people that live in them, it would be a better place, vicious cycle money maker, not sure how it's allowed,rent from multiple people in one house, they live poorly..get rid of bad ,slumlord landlords, that would help.
