Snow Canyon State Park near St George, Utah was hands down one of the most beautiful places we've ever camped in the RV! We managed to snag two nights in a partial hookup space, which came with its own covered area, bbq and table.
We spent our days hiking the many trails around the park accessible from the campground, including 'Pioneer Names'. A pretty cool feature of the park, pioneers from the 1870's painted and dated their names on the stone cliff wall in axel grease. Much like modern tagging, it's funny to see how we've been writing 'so-and-so was here' for 100's of years :D
If you are in Southern Utah and can't get into Bryce or Zion, you won't be disappointed with a visit to Snow Canyon State Park!
We are Lance, Emily and Austin, a British/Australian couple living out our dream of travelling the USA in our own motorhome. Follow along as we search for, buy and travel in our new home. Our journey so far has taken us up and down California, into Nevada and down to Arizona. We hope to hit all 50 states over the course of the next few years, so join us as we explore this awesome country!

Hahaha we didn't stop talking about it all night 😂😂 he really did just approach our door while we were making dinner, told us about how he likes to go round and talk to everyone in all the campsites he goes to, his wife thinks he's crazy for doing it. Then literally offered up that gem without any prompting from us, said cya later and left 🤣🤣🤣 so random!! Thanks so much for watching, we appreciate it 🙏💙

Thought I was pretty familiar with Utah but never heard of Snow Canyon State Park. You summed it up: Nice. I should have kept a "nice" tally LOL

@@friendventurers Good one. Very nice ;) Haha! I'm sure no one else even noticed. I was a court reporter for 25 years, so kind of a professional listener, annoying habit; and I can tell you we all have favorite words. I say, "so" and "well" a lot. And I knew a gal that ended almost every sentence with "and stuff" that just kind of trailed off. You sure couldn't get me in front of a camera. It's hard being "natural." What some travel channels have done is a lot of filming and then more of a scripted voice over narration -- not for all of it but a good chunk. Happy travels to your lovely family.

That sounds like a fascinating job! I bet you heard some crazy things. 🤩 We have tried doing the voice over thing a couple of times on our other channel, but it's a lot of work in it's own right. Figuring out what to say, saying it in an engaging natural way, having the right recording equipment, and making sure there is the right (quiet and non echoy) environment to record in. All quite challenging with a baby in an RV on the road 😂
