Exploring VATICAN CITY | Smallest Country in the World 🇻🇦 | Trip to Rome, Italy

I spent a day exploring Vatican City, the smallest country in the world. I visited St. Peter's Square, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and also spent the evening exploring parts of Rome we hadn’t already checked out like Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and the neighborhood of Trastevere. We also ate some delicious Italian food along the way, and had an incredible day exploring the Vatican City!

One of the most beautiful cities in the world I have visited on 2018...pre-corona times. It was so crowded then with tourists from all over. Though the queue to Vatican Basilica was ok with the crowd. There were lot of scammers around, but I ignored all of them. I stayed at a Hotel near St Peters train station near to the wall of Vatican. I didnt have much patience or time to visit museums, as I had only 4 days there. Unfortunately the Spanish steps were closed for renovation work then. Would go again soon in coming years

Thank you so much for not recording in The Sistine Chapel. I was in Rome in November, spent a day at The Vatican, and was very much looking forward to it. Our tour guide gave us the info before we went in b/c talking is not allowed either. I was fully prepared for a reverent experience, only to be overwhelmed and disappointed by the number of people in there who were obviously not there for the same experience. People shooting photos and video as well as talking on their phones and to each other. Then with the frequent announcement of "SILENCIO. SILENCE." and "NO FOTO" it just about ruined the experience for me. I was travel vlogging and I would have loved to have had that footage, but I couldn't even enjoy it. I tried my best. I walked away with the opinion that most of those people didn't deserve it. And also that the $$$ for the early morning/small group tour would be worth it. I had seriously considered, but ended up with just the guided tour of the Vaticani Musei (TOTALLY worth it) and then did the climb to the top of the dome and The Basilica on my own. All in all a great experience for sure, but the chapel left a bitter taste in my mouth and when I was watching this and you were getting close I was saying to myself please don't film please don't film. Thank you!!
