What a nice trip. Enjoyed watching the dogs having a good time as well. Thanks for posting this. I noticed the dogs walking in front of you (not beside you) and wondered if they were trained that way or if they just do it? My German Wiredhaired Pointer was trained to walk on my left and usually does, unless we are doing a casual walk (around the block) at which point he goes in front but doesn't pull the leash.

They typically will walk in front but not trained any specific way.
