The rootbeer falls are more rootbeer falls in the winter with a the snow the up gets along with ice. We snowmobile the u.p and the tahquamenon fall are a must stop on the trail.

@@markvanderlinde8226 I think the UP would be really cool in the winter. It’s crazy how many snowmobile paths there are. Tahquamenon would definitely be a sight to see in the winter!

@@debbiehills2928 there’s a lot of tannins in the water up there from the hemlocks and other evergreens trees in the forests up there. You’ll find similar phenomenon in North East PA.

Maybe the water is brown from iron ore too.
