I did say I missed snow last viewed vid, & so u blessed me w/an entire mtn range piled high w/it. I"d luv to go toboggoning w/Sharon. Can't figure how many yrs its been since the last time I went sled riding. Emancipation's a muddy wet mess, but it's still fun to watch u all navigate it's stopes & ladders, sliding & crawling around all over everything til u run out of time for the day or unexplored adits, tunnels, winzes, & stopes to check out. Sharon's pics make for nice documentation of some of yr more adventuresome directions. Stay safe, kiddos. Til next time, SRW in NorCal!

When i was in high school & before the Coq Hwy went in a friend and i followed the old tram cable up to the top of the mtn there . We found 2 big trenches one of which was a small adit with its thin ceiling removed . Inside was a cool old steam drill , in the trees was the old tram wheel and some flattened buidings . That road you came in on didn't exist and we never saw those workings .
