That was one super interesting episode. Enthusiasm, dedication, glimpse of artefacts not seen before, Frank's sharp wit and even singing - what more can a viewer ask for. Well ...... Sharon's rope work, photos and feats of strength. Ron's slip on the ascent, which coincidentally was the exact moment the GoPro dropped into the abyss. Frank's swim without a wetsuit. And the efforts and information from Rick, professional scuba diver, who hoped to retrieve the GoPro..... EAM 100% authentic. Thank you . Take care and be safe. 🤩👍❤️❤️❤️

I need to find all the mines in Phoenix I’ve only ever explored the mascot mine which has shown me something new every time I go there, I can only imagine a whole new part of the mine!
@Lightwish013 жыл бұрын
There is no doubt about it, this type of exploration is far more dangerous than your typical exploration of abandoned mines. The good news is that you brought a couple of people with you which literally triples the chance to survive should an emergency arise! You came with excellent safety gear from what I can tell, other than that wetsuit from the 1970’s. Diving in a mine is always dangerous so at least this isn’t another one of your solo mine explorations! Your passion for your hobby is absolutely resolute and dedicated more than many others! I admire that tenacity and gumption for sure. The amount of money you spend on this hobby of yours has to far exceed your expenses, so hopefully you are covered off on some level beyond just your KZbin income. We all know KZbin income isn’t all that great at your current level, so I hope you some other source of funds! The great locations, the gear and the travel do not come cheap! Regardless of whether you have been driving up some kind of insane debt to fund your adventures or if you have some money socked away that you use to fund your adventures, I want to thank you for providing so much entertainment over the years for us! Please keep it going!
@exploringabandonedmines3 жыл бұрын
You Tube revenue pays most of the expenses. I get around a penny for each view. But you are right we spend a lot on travel and equipment and on the museum. I had a large cattle ranch that I sold when I retired that pays for the rest.

One day you should make it down to Australia. There are all sorts of dodgy holes and shafts from one end of the country to the other. Plenty here in Victoria that are getting close to 170 years old. Lots have been closed up with demo charges but in the more out of the way places there are shafts and adits everywhere.
@exploringabandonedmines3 жыл бұрын
Maybe someday. I don't think I would enjoy the heat!
@ihti203 жыл бұрын
Son of the ditch, you've been kayaking the mine!!))) That's what I call level 6 or beyond Frank exploration! Only few dive into flooded shafts and you can't go far, that's extremely dangerous. If you're going for part 2, please make some footage, that's terribly rare stuff. And...water pump seems to be better decision... maybe not))) Stay safe!
@exploringabandonedmines3 жыл бұрын
That is a lot of water to pump!
@ihti203 жыл бұрын
@@exploringabandonedmines That's why it's higher than level 5. I'd limit diving at 100 ft. There should be something fairly valuable to dive that deep. If there's a need to access deeper, it's better to pump out water with floating pump. That's not a suggestion, I just want to stress how dangerous and difficult it is. Your kayaking is also crazy.
