7:16 in Japan, traditionally, you sit on a small wooden or plastic stool to wash yourself (instead of standing)... that would totally work in this bathtub if you really wanted a shower and didn't want to fill the tub for a soak. I would add a clear shower curtain (to keep it visually open) and a tension rod in case there's mounting issues (I can't see if the mirror is in the way of permanently mounting a rod... But a tension rod could go on the mirror without damage.) 💖🌞🌵😷

Ahh! I love Alexandra! She and her team are so amazing and helpful. There are so many people living temporarily in small spaces who don't think they have a way to make them comfortable. But Alexandra has so many videos showing how easy it can be 😊

You are incredible at this. I have looked at this channel now for a long time, and love doing so. But your approach, because of the way you explain it, is so simple and yet so elegant! It was fun hearing how you went about this makeover as well. Getting rid of the big desk was a highlight, especially since you maximized two spaces by eliminating one. I wish you the best Alexandra.

The living room area is so smart because the large rug anchors all the furniture to make it seem like a separate room. There are so many features I like. The desk, the mirror, the headboard and night tables all nice. I also like that it has just enough color to make it feel warm and cozy.

Alexandra's ability to style even the smallest spaces is impressive. But in the case of this "living in the eaves apartment", she has excelled herself. I must vacate a beautiful flat overlooking the sea. I have lived in this 50 sqm space for 9 years and hate to leave. I am moving into a truly Lilliputian flat of barely 27 sq m in the same "complex". This video of what Alexandra did in the tiny Toronto flat has given me hope that. At age 77, I might just be able to make the transition without too many tears. Thank you for the "inspo", Alexandra and "Team AG"!

Small space interior design is my favorite and Alexandra did a wonderful job in this space. Especially since there is a little old world charm. It’s videos like these that served as inspiration when I was renovating then designing the layout for four apartments I own. I’m just starting to share the journey of buying and renovating an apartment building built in 1794 on my channel😊

A nice and cozy home. Bravo. I personally would want/need more storage but like you said under the bed storage, under the window could have a buffet or dresser, a coat rack in place of the plant. I thnk it has nice bright vibe.

Subtle changes can make a difference in the function and aesthetics of a space. I especially like the hutch conversion into a desk because the pre-existing oak built-in adds such a character bonus as well as allows multiple uses of the open area around it.

The apartment looks so beautiful! The only thing I wouldn't care for is my bed jutting out into the room. I would have kept it turned the other way so that it fit with head of bed on the longest "short" end of wall. Then, using hospital track curtain Rod that is mounted to the ceiling, I would install curtains made of scrim (lightweight) with enough fabric so only light would get through the fabric. The bed could then be hidden away until you were ready for bed. It would help make the apartment feel larger because you aren't looking at your entire apartment when you walk in the door. It's just a little illusion, but a necessity for some of us. That mirror is stunning and has inspired me to make one. Great job with this cozy apartment.

It’s very pretty but I prefer looking out a window when I work. Also would have been nice to keep the bed orientation the same as before and add add a gauzy curtain to provide privacy and make the bed seem like it’s in own little room.
