Many countries seemed to of been prepared for nuclear war with their bunkers during the Cold War, but now with tensions rising even higher, we have nowhere to hide. This is the only place I have seen that may have a 50 chance it could be used again. Amazing find!

@BOB: Please use a proper activated carbon canister filter mask in these highly toxic mold environments. The technical evaluation of the Bund resulted in the expert advising against use of this bunker even as an emergency war shelter due to the extreme toxicity from the mold. Concerned for ur health, Mister Bob! Stay safe out there. And come back to Malta... Emergency flower mill waiting to be filmed... :D

5.000 people, for 30 days. Imagine getting there in a state of distress, then sitting and sleeping in these rooms and corridors while you do not know what has happened to the people you love. Then come out after 30 days, if you're lucky. Unimaginable. The phone with the winding mechanism is so that communication has a chance of working after the EMP of a nuclear explosion. You wind it to create a small charge which will allow you to make (very) short phone calls to the other side of the bunker.
