Exploring Rules: (Found out so far) - Do not share or give out locations of the places you visit especially to the public, there is a great chance that someone will just trash the place. The location will just spread out and chances are It'll get wrecked and destroyed by some visitors. Except If the place is already popular and very known then you may share It but I still don't suggest that. - Do not vandalize or steal from the places you visit. Every item in that place tells a story, gives the place an antique feel to It. Just take photographs, do not leave or steal anything. - As much as possible, stay safe. There are some places such as this one that other people or strangers visit often, and you can't tell If they have a good intention or nah'. Like the forest they visited where they saw something strange and so on. There are places that is just rotting and can cave in anytime. If visiting one do keep in mind that floors, walls, and roofs can just cave in anytime. I just want to share this with you guys as everyone who watches Josh wants to be an urban explorer as well. Veteran viewers knows about these rules but I just want to point It out to the new subcribers/viewers that watches his videos.
@ExploringWithJosh8 жыл бұрын
+Kaspersky - San Andreas Multiplayer: DayZ thanks. Im gonna have to share this alot.
@kaspersky-sanandreasmultip24818 жыл бұрын
No problem Josh. You should make some of these as you have more experience than me but make a longer one explaining all the rules you've learnt and all the rules they should follow generally. There are so many people, fans especially that wants to be an urban explorer as well.
@kaspersky-sanandreasmultip24818 жыл бұрын
And I hope all your trips, visits, and your exploration goes well and you and the exploring crew are always safe. I also suggest that you guys buy a compact tazer for each one of you especially when you visit places like this. Keep It up man! ;)

Kaspersky - San Andreas Multiplayer: DayZ ok. But some things I think SHOULD be taken because they tell a story. That place will collapse soon and all of it will be destroyed with it.

Josh, that " weird" mirror with the seat was always found in the large hall of an old house. It was used for unexpected visitors where they would sit as the butler told the occupiers of the house and if they were accepted then their coats were hung on the pegs of that chair, the mirror was so the lady can check her hat was on properly before going out. Hope that helps 😊

At 4:45 that weird chair is called a "halltree" and was usually by an entrance to hang your coats on. The sitting part was to put on or take off your boots. Beautiful old radio at 5:37 vintage worth some money. Oh man that China at 6:46 that is just outstanding, the value in this place is incredible. It never ceases to amaze me how people just left these places with all the stuff in them! I couldn't get over the jukebox, cigarette machine, alcohol and dishes/utensils that were just left where they were. Someone must own these places, so you'd think they'd come clean them out. +Exploring With Josh, you should have checked that register to see if they left money in it. They left everything else right where it was, lol. I don't agree with the people who said others should take stuff as souvenirs and all, since someone does actually own the place so it is still stealing. So happy you aren't like that, though, Josh.

Josh I really enjoy watching your videos. VLOG videos included. a little advice from an old lady though. I realize that you are super busy and your time is precious but try not to let your amazing popularity change who you are. You don't respond as much to comments and questions like you used to. Overall, you have changed to the point where it's noticeable. Don't get me wrong, you are still awesome&lots of fun to watch. Just try not to forget where you came from and how you got so popular in the first place: by being a normal, down to earth, kid next door just being himself and sharing the fun with the rest of the world Safe travels and exploring!

"Weird chair with a mirror" is a hall tree. It sat in the main entry hall. You sat to remove boots, chucked them in the bin underneath and hung coats, hats and scarves on the hooks, then checked out your hair in the mirror before entering the parlor. Probably almost every Victorian home larger than a cabin had one! Would love to have checked out some of those books!! I have a cane like that, picked it up in Mexico a few years ago! LINCRUSTA WALL COVERING in the stairwell!! At least it looked like it. Sometimes it was tooled leather and someone painted over it, or it could have been a fake version that came out a couple of decades ago.... Nice explore, thanks for posting!!

Cigarette vending machine? I was 7 or 8 last time I saw one of those.
@TriTrina8 жыл бұрын
They still have them in most pubs in Ireland xD
@Benson_aka_devils_advocate_888 жыл бұрын
They banned them here in the states almost 30 years ago. To easy for the kids to get them.
@TriTrina8 жыл бұрын
I can see why they would, i'm not sure why they're still everywhere here!
@sunshinethor4208 жыл бұрын
they are not illegal in the us. Pretty much every bar in America has those cigarette machines

Benson they are Only allowed in facilities where people under 18 are not allowed; ban came into force on June 22, 2010

I really enjoyed this one . I have been watching your videos for a little over a year. You got me hooked! I was in every exploring site and page there was I stopped watching them all and watch you only. I have watched some of your travel videos and have enjoyed them they just don't compare to abandoned ones. I am 55 and enjoy the work you do a lot . Keep up the good work young man.

The door on the top floor is probably for when there's a fire so you dont have to break a window if the fire is at the stairs

do you ever take stuff from the places you visit? if so what do you usually take and if it's really old do you try and give it a home or keep it?

Elon Musk It's an unspoken rule as urban explorers, like myself, to not take anything. So I'm guessing Josh hasn't.

Elon Musk he says towards the end that he doesn't take anything and only wants to document these places. He def followsbthe urbex code

Honestly I wish I could go and take some of the antiques with me to preserve them and give them a better home. If I could go I would take as much as I can and give it to an antique shop not to like steal from it but to give it a home I know it's mean to take things from places like that but still it's rare to see an abandoned place with antiques still in it
@saltandpeppa12874 жыл бұрын
They should have a certification for that. If you could be a qualified "antiqist" i think you should have the rights to.

Some of these items could easily go into a museum about that period of history it’s sad it all gets left to rot

I do enjoy your travelling vlogs more than the abandoned ones! I always look forward to when you travel to different countries and show what their culture looks like and stuff. That doesn't mean that I dislike your abandoned video's, I just enjoy your travelling video's more, 'cause i really like seeing what other countries look like. Their roads, houses, food, people, it's all really fascinating.

My aunt and uncle live in an old Victorian hotel, just off of a train station in Idaho. I have the hardest time sleeping there. You can hear creaking all night. It is so cool, and they have a bunch of rooms that still have the original furniture, but they have really tried to keep it up. It isn't huge, but seriously so damn cool!

I know I’m like 5 years late to this video, but man I sure hope this place is still intact and not vandalized. Soon as I retire, which will be very soon, 20 yrs service yeah! I am going to do exploration just like this in order to capture the history and to at least say I got to visit it before time truly erases it physically. Great video!
