Graduate of the S.O.M. and the musicians there were so down to earth and music was/is in our blood, never had a dull moment and never practiced and studied so hard. Love the memories!!!

All this jazz activity in the U.S. is very rewarding. The greatest musical art form in the world must never die.

Assuming the normal you know the usual jazz band setup the big band set up for the rhythm Section of the left and the horns are on the right he's playing traditional grip Lefty but on a right handed drum set. Holy what?

Hey it’s entertaining and there’s no denying he is a virtuoso. If I was a drummer of his caliber, I’d take joy in my chops, abilities, and practice / enjoy the freedom of total mastery!
