2:35 your HumanoidRootPart was detached from your body, making your body fall and the HumanoidRootPart (the invisible part you were controlling) still count as a player, also there is a joint called "Neck" that joints the head and the Upper torso/Torso depending on whether you're in R15 or R6, and if that joint is destroyed, the player automaticly dies (kinda like if you removed somebody's neck, they wouldn't survive for very long)

The HumanoidRootPart is basically what keeps you standing up, because your legs have no collision.

you can delete some explosion particles in the roblox game files to make it less game shattering (it works for me because if my camera was in a point blank explosion it would sometimes crash my entire pc (i have a terrible pc))

my guess for what happened at 2:28 is that the humanoid root part survived? but i dont actually know i have not tested. it just kinda can happen with explosions.

explosion instances in roblox are so broken, i disable the explosion damage and damage humanoid using distance manually because they dont replicate right, they are so unreliable im suprised they are still used nowadays also, the explosion knockback depends on how many accessories you have on you, so if have an avatar with 10 accessories you will get flung out of orbit and possibly a million studs away

The explosion particles can be a bit annoying because it drops your fps down, making you lag. Had this crap happened to be when i was playing Epic Minigames, little girl kept spamming her Bomb Item as the ball comes on the path, where we should avoid, she triggered the explosion as the ball approaches, lagged and died.

@@byteblox100Yes! I’ve been a developer for 5 years now and still haven’t learned anything about animations.. You should make a tutorial on tool animations (swinging sword, drinking coffee, etc.) and also make a tutorial on general player animations (animation for when player is picking up and object, animation for when player is opening crate, etc.) And then to finish the animation series, you should make a tutorial on npc animation, where you aren’t animating a player, but instead a monster or something. Just some suggestions, love your content! 😊

Honestly, dont listen to the task.wait() stuff. People have been going back and forth about it and there has been no real answer, sk i stick with wait () because roblox cant depreciate it and it is so much easier to type. I see no differences and every time I'm told one its either a lie to get me on said persons side, or just sine rumor that is false. Until roblox says which is better i personally wont change... Also, in your first test when you ran that code, your humanoidrootpart was being detached from your torso (broken weld) with simply caused it to fall over. For whatever reason humanoids do not care is humanoidrootparts are still welded to your character lol

@@real_barian i often don't care about local scripts using regular wait() for example, they won't desync since nothing left the client's machine, so what happens if the task schedular on the client got delayed a bit? On the server those performance improvements are nice to make the game not run shit on live servers (or even in Studio rofl)

they useful to "fling" ragdolls to give them more good positions instead of just dropping and since i mostly use them for NPC ragdolls, and respawning is just spawning another npc this works for me
