I saw the once and I have to say that it was the best live performance I have ever seen! The way they moved the way they played the way they surprised you... I am still waiting for them to come againg so I can experience the awesome feeling of Explosions In The Sky!

Yea they're stellar. I saw them in Moogfest in October and it was just great. They would be so loud then go so quiet that you could hear a pin drop and then BOOM they play so hard your heart races to keep up.

Do they ever do encores? I respect their decision not to, but as pure fan service, it's always appreciated.

I don't think so. But there is no need, they play 1.5/2 hours straight, and you go home fulfilled. The one time I was able to see them has been one of the best experiences in my life! :)

Annoyed over how much ignorance there is in the world. Hate to be "that guy", but this video deserves a lot more views... So many unexplainable emotions come to mind whenever I listen to this band.

Far out. Does anyone know if they play locally (Austin) in between world tour dates? I'd love to drive over from Houston and see them perform live.

Great video. Excellent quality. The visuals from the band, however, seems to clash with the music to me. This is atmospheric music, not groove oriented or head banging, yet that's how (at least 2 members of) the band is moving -- the emotion they are trying to sell. I prefer to listen without watching them.

Dude, they are in the moment. I can attest, when Im playing with my band, you get lost in the atmosphere andddd the groove. Their music is killer, as always. I saw them at FunFunFun Fest in Austin, tx two years ago.
