I'm really impressed with how quick Hendon Hooker has picked up on the offense coach Huepel runs. Not only picking up on it, but how he was able to connect with his receivers like he did last year. They really should be able to score in bunches on everybody this year if they can stay healthy. I think win totals will depend heavily on how good the defense is. We could win 9 or more games if our defense improves from last year. I do think it would be very hard to have a good or great defense with how many plays they are expected to defend because our offense is on and off the field so quickly. I guess that's the bad part of being able to score so quick, it puts a lot of pressure on our defense.

I really like the direction that they are going. Just like the old Baylor teams they might snowball to some blow outs against teams that they should have good games with if the D can get some quick stops or turnovers early.

The coaching point for reading this play is think curl & align to throw to the curl. React to Go or Post. The goal of the slot is to grab the safety, thus you probably won’t go there with the ball. We give the choice runner options because we want the ball to go to him.

Could u break down some Arkansas wildcat with McFadden and Hillis, obviously the game has changed a lot since then but I’m just curious how they were able to run that formation so effectively and efficiently against sec defenses

Yea they got to do something about it all teams did it against us all year. But ole miss deserved an Oscar with all the acting they did in last years game against vols. You do that you get mustard on the field in Neyland.
