You're kidding right? Its not badminton. Hodge is one of the fairest but toughest players that went around. He shouldn't have swung at swallow to start with but did nothing to Thomas. & 2nd meeting with swallow, Hodge knew what was coming, let him make contact and then drew the free but letting him make contact again and letting momentum take them both to the ground. That's a free, swallow was an idiot for not letting it go. It was just another day at the office for the Hawks but north for emotional. Lewis on the other hand, he had a mean streak.

Because this happens very, very rarely, especially nowadays. Before trial by video was introduced, there was a culture of if you do it to us, we will even up so it controlled itself to an extent. That's why there's no send off at the top level. At suburban level there is though.
