Just a heads up, the content is way better with a head mount. We get to see exactly what your seeing but with the check mount the reel and your hand is in the way majority of the time.

how do you determine which spots to try, tide to do, what bait to use/plug, top water or swimming bait, jighead and plastic, colors, etc? Seems overwhelming. I goto spots and catch fish at times but how do you know all the above?

I determine the spots based on the wind. If its blowing anything over like 10mph then Im gonna try to find a way to position myself with my back facing the wind. Helps casting plus water is generally calmer when land shields the water from wind. If its calm probably using topwater when the water is shallow. If deep (15+ft) almost always gonna fish on bottom with bucktail/jig. If waters rough, I experiment with bucktails and some swimming plugs to see what works. I throw these when its calm as well if topwater isn’t getting hits/follows. Not too crazy about colors. I generally buy white, yellow/chartreuse, & black for all my lures. Mostly white and yellow. Hope that can help you.

Crazy how people ask where this is at. It’s mega obvious and when this bite came to over a week ago it was good then you couldn’t find any parking and dealt with trout fishing. Word gets out fast and videos solidify a spot.
