Hey Scrapman, you should test if the explosives need to actually be hit directly or if sharp acceleration is enough to set them off. Such as encasing one in wood and dropping it from a plane, will the wood protect it or will the shock from hitting the ground set it off?

the things I feel are in a way "missing" are, first, some kind of explosive that you can directly wire a switch to and that explodes immediatly, or with a reduced cooldown (right now, the only thing that is near enough would be to use a 1x1x1 modded spud gun as a detonator), and second, indestructible parts (for creative reasons) As a side note, I'd say that esthetically, just having a spudgun pointed at the canisters with almost nothing else (like logic or switches) gives it a nice "antenna" feel, IMO

Fireworks, put a bomb in huge cube to see the explosive radius, shoot the bomb before launching it (like from you catapult) to make an air burst round, does the explosive force increase with more bombs, can you use the bombs to fire shrapnel, attaching a thruster to bombs to make missiles, can a piston apply enough force to blow up a bomb, will adding weight to a bomb make it impact the ground harder and explode, will dropping a heavy object on a bomb make it explode, will enough centrifical force blow up the bomb, if you surrounded the bombs in materials and then used them as wheels do they explode, pressure plate land mines, sensor activated land mines, if you launch a normal barrel at the explosive will it explode, can you use the magnetic mod to launch bombs, blow up a boat, ooh launching or dropping bombs and use the gravity mod to increase or lessen gravity!!! compress a bomb to try to explode it, explosive video intros? lol, All right I should stop and go back to work.

That was my idea as well. Instead of manually shoot them. Why not use the timer to the mount spudgun? Use the switch to the rocket and the timer will start like 30 second to make the spudgun shoot them.

Scrapman do a bomber challenge where there are 2 teams 2 bombers on team 1 on team 2 are 2 fighter where they need to shoot down the bombers while the bombers need to carpet bomb and oil reserves By the way the place where the bombx are should be protected witg metal so it wont explode and you have a max of 4 bombs per bomber while the fighteres have 4 spud guns oh anf both planes are made of breakable stuff

The falling shrapnel gave me an idea for wars such as dogfights. If you put the canister behind your aircraft enough to where it won’t damage any of your craft, you can use the bombs as flares to help from possible IR missiles.

ok so I have a game mode for yah scrap man my dude so u make your vehicle's like usual or have a preset and have a danger course of spikes and stuff from the sharps mode and have an explosive on the car like on the back and each player has a spike from the sharps mode on there car and first on to the finish or last on to splode wins

How about an explosive-powered cannon? Also, at the end it looked like the explosive launched a potato. Could a potato shotgun be made? Also, for a multiplayer Monday, what about a 3v1 challenge, with one massive vehicle with explosives on it using tons of (maybe modded?) spud guns to defeat 3 cardboard vehicles, who must shoot the explosives on the large vehicle, or perhaps launch explosive barrels using catapults or other methods. Also, do explosives activate from acceleration? What about friction? What about pressure? Can things be exploded simply by pressing them against something else? Is it possible to create a controllable explosive jump? Are rockets a viable way to detonate explosives on impact? Can guided missiles be made?

You know those fireballs that come out of explosions? They seemed to have physics when they hit the ground for a few seconds until they despawned. You should play with those sometime, maybe see what they weigh, if you could maybe make the bomb explode above a flying target with sensors, then see if perhaps the fire can mess with flight. Just throwing an idea out there.

I have an 2 ideas for mm. Build a car that has explosives as bumpers and race, but you can't bump each other, or else you would blow up. 2. You spread the explosives around the drag/ race course and other people try to hit the explosive with spud guns from a distance and try to blow up the car racing by.

it seems like if the cannisters are damaged, they'll start to explode, but if they take more than a certain amount of damage, they explode instantly. one spud gun makes a cannister hiss and swell and then go boom. 3 spudguns at once makes it explode instantly.

Mm bomb game: Have an area with 2 teams, 1 that plants a bomb and one that has to disarm (break) it. The area is filled with explosives and if they cannot break it in time then they lose, there is a spud gun at the bomb which detonates when they run out of time to find it, the other team has to distract them for the time it takes to detonate

Multiplayer Monday ideas: Bomb Delivery Challenge. Transport the most bombs to your garage to win. Exploding Cops Challenge. AI cops with bombs are trying to explode you! Last one alive wins. Explosive Destruction Derby. Everyone has bombs on the sides of their vehicle and a ramming device on the front. This could also make a fun figure-8 race track.

The logic of the explosives make sense, the small one does average damage, and to trigger any explosive they must be at max 7 blocks apart. And the big explosive is about 2 times bigger than the somall explosive, while also doing 2 times the damage and range.

Just a quick idea, you've probably thought of this but for bombing challenges just add extra weight (metal) to the top side of the bomb, you could also use thrusters directly on them but that would make it kind of unrealistic for bombs.

I was thinking something like simulating a disaster, like a plane losing an engine mid-flight, due to the beautiful meteor shower that will follow. I think it will be cool to also make a challenge where you make a normal missile where it launches the missile, but blows up the depleted stages, and then blows up on final impact. I have a challenge for you and your friends. That challenge involves a train carrying explosives. The objective: get the cargo to safety (train team), destroy the cargo (attacker team). And how will you achieve these? For train team, ya must have a means of defending the cargo. This can be a man with a spud gun, or a man operating a small turret. You win if you successfully defend the train. As for the attackers, they must create a vehicle that is smaller then the train, and capable of destroying the cargo. They must be destructible.
