In this tutorial MixMasterG demonstrates how to create a Serato "performance USB" containing selected crate(s) from a Serato collection. That USB can be used in any Serato computer on both Windows and macOS.
After the procedure you can also use that same USB on:
• any Rekordbox computer (on both Windows and macOS)
• Pioneer DJ CDJ players
• optionally Denon's EngineDJ (on both Windows and macOS) and EngineOS players (=Prime 4 etc)
Maintaining the Serato crates, cues, loops, bpm etc on all those platforms. This USB is very easy to update when new tracks are added to the main Serato collection.
The whole procedure is 100% separated from the main Serato collection.
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
• MacOS compatible computer
• Serato collection with some crates
• USB drive (can be a key, sd card etc). Recommended are Samsung T5/T7 or Sandisk Extreme
• Serato Crate Renamer, • Free tool to separate ...
• Rekordbox, the free preparation version is all you need, rekordbox.com/en/
• DJ Conversion Utility, • Step-By-Step tutorial ...
𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 if that USB needs to be compatible with Engine OS:
• EngineDJ, enginedj.com
• Denon Conversion Utility, • Step-By-Step tutorial ...
