Question- I have some Adobe Fill form files one is for inter office use and one is for our customers. I have combined the form using the organization tab. Is there a way to keep the file combined like this but only pull the data off of the internal office form for the excel spreadsheet? Or would I need to separate these pages to use the excel spreadsheet in this tutorial?

For anyone looking for, but not finding, the three dot menu in September 2024, export has moved to the “more tools” drop-down in the middle of the “prepare form” document pane, the one that enumerates all your fields and lets you change their properties.

NM! Got it figured out. It is the same as the first example but you use the .csv instead. Do the power query on the .csv file, edit the columns and save it to the work sheet. Then just add another batch of files via Adobe pro and export those to the .csv file under a different name. Load up your spread sheet and refresh and boom! Done.

This is a great tutorial. Do you have a tutorial on how to bring in the PDF form fill data directly into a spreadsheet in certain cells? I use a form fill pdf with drop down menus to select items to build out a quote and want to be able to take the form fill pdf data directly to my quote sheet in excel. Thanks you !

Sharon, is it possible to automate this process for each time the form is completed by a user? Maybe via a Submit button that they would have to click prior to closing or finishing the form? The append to existing file would be needed to keep adding results to the CSV file.

Wow I thought this was such an incredible presentation! Nice job. A star is born. Power query! Wow. Cool idea. So here is what I want to do: Create a form in Adobe acrobat and have it auto create a submission id number and today’s date when it exports to excel. I want a submit button on the form to do two things… 1. Export the data on the form to a master excel file 2. Save the filled pdf form in a folder so it can be emailed out to someone. How do you recommend I make the code for this submit button in adobe pro? Does Adobe have an easy coder to tell it what to do OR would I need to inject Python into the button so when it’s clicked, it does some code and does numbers 1 and 2. What are your thoughts and recommendations?

How do get this chocolate brown color on your hair. It's so hard to get chocolate tone. Do you mix 2 colors. If I use light brown, it does not get chocolate, if I use medium brown, it gets almost black. Do you mix different color like light brown with medium brown? and which brand?

Hello! I go to a stylist that does my color. I am not sure what brand she uses but it is a mix and then I get partial highlights to blend it in so it doesn’t look too dark. Software Limitations: While there isn't a predefined limit on the number of fields that can be imported, some PDF to Excel conversion tools or software may have their own limitations or performance constraints. Thank you so much for such a thorough response. i will try to troubleshoot. In the text file I do see all the columns listed so I dont think it is the extraction. When i use your merge method they all import, but lose the power query benefits. Is there also a way to export multiple forms to txt? I found how to do actions but that way only saved the pdf not the form fields.
