How do I use my MPC as an interface so I can plug my mic into the back of it, and record vocals onto a beat in logic

First, the MPC has to be in Controller Mode. Then, go into Logic's 'Preferences' Menu > Devices 'tab'. Change the Output AND Input Devices to 'MPC'. Then connect your MPC outputs to your Mixer / Speakers and connect your Microphone to the MPC's XLR input, adjust gain.. Configure a Logic Audio Track's 'Input' to be the MPC.. Hit Record in Logic and SING!🙏🏻

Unfortunately, I haven't got a 'physical connection' hook-up demo.. but, it's fairly easy... it's literally 2 cables, 'Power' & the 'USB' ..if you like...with a couple of screenshots of your set-up.. Hey this is all fine and helpful but what would be the issue if I’m not having any luck with the notes being inputted showing up…when I have them already in a project in the mpc? The mpc pads have sounds but I can’t get those into the mpc 2 app to be exported to logic and then be arranged…

Hard to say.. maybe you're dragging audio across that isn't routed to the Stereo Outputs. Check your routings 👍🏼

Sorry champ, this software runs on the more modern MPCs of the last 10 years.. however, I do have a series I'm in the middle of for the 2000XL.. I'm sure there's some tricks you can learn from those though 🤔 kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZpnHoKN8j8StnLc
