Right . Crude Oil and Gold imports are hurting . We don't have crude oil reserves but we need it . We don't have gold reserves / mines and we don't need it . But Indian people liking for gold is hurting economy. If you love your country the least you can do is stop buying physical gold . Instead buy paper gold , gold bonds . Better invest in Mutual Funds on regular basis .

​@@RD-ij2szIndian people having been buying gold since millennia. It is a great asset , in front of your eyes , not in the hands of some stupid or crooked asset manager of a mutual fund. It's a hedge against inflation. Banks all over the world keep gold reserves. Yes , we should move towards EVs and renewable energy in a big way. Oil imports make a dent in the exchequer, as subsidies are given. And kerosene prices are completely government controlled.

Because of some manufacturers there were blast in EVs because of that general public thinks if they take EV it will blast. 2 nd problem is of charging if they charge at home they will get more bill rate ( in India we doesn't have same rate for every unite, if you consume more your bill will have high rate per ₹) 3 rd problem is of charging time it take 5-6 hours, 4 th initially cost is more then petrol ones. For hydrogen one it can replace traditional fuel but it is in very early stage. So it will atleast take 10-15 years.
