I think it’s down to desperation , I’ve met a few people in my life that buy products like this and normally that’s the case, they know it won’t work most likely but they are so desperate somthing will be easier, they go for it anyway. It used to be very common in the pro Anna circuit, I’m glad I got out. I’m nearly done my weight gain :) feel so much better!

I was so painfully desperate to lose weight and the cost of the product was minimal so I figured it was worth a go. Needless to say it wasn’t and I’ve never bought anything like that again. It’s crazy how gullible people can be when they’re desperate and you’re telling them what they want to hear. Which is exactly what these “companies” prey on!

Yes. I never bought one of these, but lots of my clients ask me if things that they saw on the internet really work. Most of it beeing: Keto to loose weight (but they actually have no idea what kitoses is) Leomon water(does is boost yor metabolism?) Protein shakes (i need them to get muscle right?) And no: Keto is not for everyone and you have to masure everything to know if you are really in kitoses and not just follow keto-lists Lemon water just tastes better If you are not a crazy ass jacked bodybuilder who needs 150g of protein a day you can get enought protein in you normal doet to build muscle If you want to know something, do not ask tiktok, ask a proffessional. And they will not just give you one answer because they have to check a lot of things and ask a lot of questions to know what could be right for you....there is no one size fits all!

Cell biologist here. Lipolysis doesn't even occur in mitochondria but in intracellular microcompartments so called lipid droplets (LDs) in the cytoplasm and the lysosomes. Or extracellular in the gastrointestinal tract and the vascular system. Mitochondrias aren't even involved.

This got nothing to do with anything but I wanted to say that someone told me I lost weight and I laughed and said no, I've been eating well, but it's been a rough week and I was always sleeping. I checked my weight and I almost lost 1 kg about 2 pounds. I wasn't happy at all, this wasn't healthy. This just showed me that I've been really suffering mentally and kept pushing it off. If you need help ask for it, lose weight in a healthy manner, I lost 3 kg / 6 pounds in almost 1 month and a half and that weight stayed down because it was a slow and healthy progress. The longer it takes to lose weight the longer your weight would stay the same. It's okay to have a slow progress, it's okay to see small changes in long periods of time, the slower it is the more likely it will stay with you, without any yoyo effect. Stay healthy, mentally and physically, you can do it 💪🏼💪🏼

With my very limited biomchem knowledge (Studied it in classes for 2 years and hated every second) the words are real words, but they're just using them to make themselves sound scientific. The basic explanation is correct, about metabolism and the fatty acid chains and Acetyl-CoA but the way they explain it just seems like they thought "how many scientific words can we put in a paragraph before it become incomprehensible to the average person?"

When I was about 18-19 I got down to my lowest body fat and noticed the skin, it made me lose motivation. Gained 60lbs in one semester at university and lost it in 3 months post breakup my senior year. Up and down for about 2 years, but now I'm finally at a stable weight. I have a new love for my scared, loose skin, stretch-marked skin and all it is capable of. My husband loves it too. He had his removed before we started dating.

I don't buy into these things, but I don't think it's always just a matter of people not being bright. I think there's also a degree of desperation. When you feel like you've tried everything to lose weight and nothing seems to work and you really don't want to go down the road of surgery, people will do things that seem to be not terribly smart out of desperation. But I 100% agree with you that it's wrong of these companies to use the image of other's hard work to their advantage and to take advantage of desperate and "dim" people in this way. im not shitting on keto because when i tried keto for 3 wks i definitely lost weight , like alot of weight ,which wasnt the intended goal and scared the crap out of me , plus i felt like an emotional wreck ,had no energy, cried alot and in general just gave myself a bad tummy and a nightmare lifestyle . but im sure it can work for some ppl. after a few days of eating balanced again i felt much better but my stomach is still not back to how it was in the beginning but im getting there .just be cautious ppl and do alot of research on the positives and negatives of different ways of eating and go into things with as much information as you can x

I have a friend who’ll believe this type of thing. I’ve been into fitness for years and told her about how these are not going to work. She doesn’t listen at all! I mean when a diet fad fail her she’ll start another. I’ll say the same thing but to no avail. She wants that “Quick Fix”. She even went and bought an only juice diet for something $300 and yes she lost the initial weight but bounced back. I don’t know… I stopped telling her stuff, BECAUSE she WON’T LISTEN no matter how explain it. Now, she just decided to go through cosmetic route to fix her body. It’s a lot of money spent in search of that quick fix when a right diet and workout regimen is cheaper. It’s a lot of work but waaaay way cheaper. It just requires mental fortitude and control but no one wants to do that at all.

The problem with enzymes is that they are proteins. And guess what? Proteins when eaten are destroyed in stomach (it is called a digestion). It is difficult problem to overcome when producing drugs. That is why for example insulin needs to given subcutaneusly. This is why this coffee with enzymes probably will not work.
