Great video. I’m been thinking of getting into the Photo Booth industry I have noticed that in my area in NYC that most vendors are around 300 to 500 price points. I don’t see how I can compete with that low price point.

I know several people in nyc charging over 1k and averaging 2k price points! It’s all in who your target market is and reaching those higher paying clients… OR doing a ton of volume at a lower price point.

Are PhotoBooth Attendants necessary? I've seen photo booth ads that only mention drop offs. What are the benefits of a photo booth attendant, beside ensuring the safety of the equipment & troubleshooting?

It’s all in what experience you want to offer your clients. In my company we pride ourselves in providing the best possible experience for our customers and that includes at the event with our attendants

Starting off do you suggest offering 3 package choice or 2 could be ideal also?

Think of it as small medium and large. I’ll always recommend 3, with the middle package being where you want the majority of your customers going

Very easy! There are books on amazon that you can order with slip in sections. Or you can do it scrapbook style. If you think it'll be valuable I'll do a video on it!

Hey do you usually have a set amount of prints per events? How do you figure out quantities.?

My contract says one per person in the photo. If there are 4 people, we’ll print 4 prints. There’s only so much your printer can print (each print can take 10-15 seconds) so you can do the math on the cost per print per minute etc. and that will be your max (because you’re not going to be printing non stop as it takes time for the guests to get situated etc)

Go for it! You can only try and see if it works, right? A few questions come to mind: how are you charging and who are you charging, the mall? How will you be securing the booth to ensure no theft occurs? Will your insurance provider cover loss, theft, or damage? And will you have access to wifi for the entirety of the service so that guests can receive their digital images? Just a few things to think about!
