We shouldn't underestimate the importance of the offshore findings as a motive for lots of things. The emptying of the gaza strip, the stubborn complicity of the US and UK who've probably been promised part of the cake as a deal. The UK especially, to give a boost to its economy. Companies with experience in North Sea drilling may be bidding for part of the booty. A sprinkling of well armed and well trained settlers will keep settler mentality politicians happy as well as providing a local guard against intruders. This way Israel can thumb its nose at its resourse rich Arab neighbours and have enough economic independence so there is less dependence on those who might not fully approve its actions. Anti Semitism smears and hate speech etc. are a smoke screen. Human beings on the whole feel for other humans, as we can see every week, everywhere, people of all beliefs telling us they don't want "the massacre of the innocent". In addition when Iran sent over over 300 missiles and drones, the vast majority were taken down-- NOT by the Israeli high-tech section of their military-- but by the Americans. THE remainder were taken down by Jordans and British and French. the Israelis as usual did very little in terms of destroying in flight the missiles that were attacking them. THE fact is that British and the Americans, as well as Jordans, who's leader is a Saudi Arabian, and also the French & the Germans are guilty of genocide and need to be tried in court and immediately. WE have one case against Israel county conducted by South Africa, but we need to have a case against America; against Britain; against Germany; against France and the Jordans. American has boots on the ground: they definitely are there to advise and if Americans are there, the British are there as well because these 2 nations are joined at the hip. Please bring on people who are going to litigate against these countries. WE need to have-- just as you do in war--multiple legal attacks against what is the true crime, genocide. Israel of course is perpetrating this crime but more importantly are the countries mentioned before--all perpetrating genocide against an indigenous people.

I'm white, 68 years old and a believer in Jesus Christ. The events of 7 oct. have made me rethink EVERYTHING! I still find Jesus as the true rock, but I now have a tremendous love for the Palestinians and a tremendous distrust of what the western goverenments are up to. Sure, Israel has a place in history and when you really look at the Bible it all points to one person. The question of the land is up to God. It is however being used by money and power hungry interests to improve their power and money. Many Evangelical Christians are 100% behind Israel, but how can they reconcile that with racism and genocide?. Is that what God is about? Killing and maiming children? Jesus will return and we will have to give account to Him of what we have done! I pray we will be saved. None of us deserve it!
