First, using kinematics equation vf^2=vi^2+2ad, you get that the initial velocity of the ball is 242m/s which is 70% the speed of sound. Second, understanding that “newton-meter” is a distance times a force, it can be described as W=Fd. Sub in the equation F=ma, you get W=(m*a)(d) plugging in all values would mean that the ball would have to weigh 34kg for both statements to be true. This also means that whoever is carrying this ball with one hand can essentially carry and handle 75 pounds like it is nothing. This dude must be buff as hell. Third, if this thing weighs 34kg, it will have insane stopping power, for reference, a pistol has a range of muzzle velocities of 120m/s-370m/s. This one has 242m/s, almost directly in the middle, so let’s call them equal in velocity. The average 9mm bullet weighs 130 grain (or 0.00842 kg). Understanding that their velocities are equal, and the equation for kinetic energy is 1/2mv^2, this thing would deliver 4036 times more energy to anything it hits compared to a pistol. Side note, while a rail gun projectile weighing 10kg and fired at mach 7 would have kinetic energy of 28,824 kJ (which is vastly higher than this ball at 995 kJ) the momentum of the rail gun is 24010 kg*m/s, the momentum of the ball is 8228 kg*m/s, which means it has about 1/3 the momentum of one of the most deadly non-guided projectiles known to man.
