I just went out on my first bike yesterday for the first time. I had to oppurtunity to get the bike I wanted. That bike just happened to be a 2023 ZX-10R. Everything is manageable if you respect it. I'm just chillin in low power mode until I feel like I need to move up.

Jake, why did you choose the Zx10R? How did you not drop it and not get scared because I always ask questions like this out of curiosity especially when someone gets a liter bike as their first How is the low power mode?

@@thedragonofechigo7878 It has power modes. Ride to your ability. Don't get cocky. Understand your limits. Learn and progress into the higher power modes as needed. The bike is only heavy when it's stationary. I'm still in it's break-in period too. I have done a bunch of things already to it before riding it. Exhaust, Pair Valve blocks, ECU flash, 520 conversion -1 tooth in the front, I even have race rails on it too powdercoated to match the gold trim.

You mentioned possibly adding a new bike to your line up I would like to see a used bike added. I'm sure I'm not alone here but buying a brand new bike isn't the best option for me. Showing the process of scoring a nice bike at a deal. Putting some fastlaneD touches on the bike and selling it, possibly to your fan base giving a chance to own a fastlaneD bike. Then buy another used bike. Giving you and the fans a chance to experience different kinds of bikes and riding styles. Maybe even selling up to get to that high end status bike or something.

I used the silicon that came with my carbon. I don't know what they gave you, but I let it sit overnight without riding and haven't a problem with.

I’d steer clear of Bren tuning tbh. I got one of there flashes for me 2021 V4s. And it’s been terrible. Had quickshifter issues. And still do occasionally. I asked them to remove the limiter in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. And they wouldn’t. It’s a real pain because I want to drag race the bike but it just hits the limiter to early and isn’t getting anywhere near the maximum. I feel it’s also restricted on the throttle. I’m in the process of getting a woolich setup with the self tuning and dyno it and get rid of all the actual restrictions

It’s not the UpMap worked miracles from my bike. Maybe the tune on your T 800 is from a lame tuner. Mine has Gabro’s tunes on it for my Aprilia…it literally super charged my bike it feels like.

I have a feeling that UpMap isn’t working right yet for the latest models. You can get a carbon cover for the lower tank that looks good - it covers up the silver you see from the back. I got mine from Ilmberger but they don’t do the chopped finish that you like. Do you plan to try it on track?
