Popular retail fragrances always have fakes. But yes, here in Russia we can buy After Effect, Al Nashama etc for arround $20. And they're original because it's much easier to deliver fragrances here from UAE and sell them here. Well, in UAE itself you can buy a lot of fragrances even less than $15-20 (check out some CurlyFragrance videos when she voises the prices)

I've seen 9pm listed as Afnan on Walmart. Took a look at the pic and the bottle says Divloo. Forget having to spot fakes just buy from legit retailers. At least you have recourse against them if they sell you a fake in error.

Once you're used seeing the originals, you can easily tell the fake quality from the bottle presentation, unless they use the real bottle but refill it with fake juices

Thanks for the video. I think I bought a fake 9PM. The price was in the correct range but the longevity is very poor. Also the box writing is just a slight bit off when I compare it to boxes I see on the internet. My bad, got it from a small perfume shop that assured me that although some of the items were knock offs in his store, the 9PM was actually origional manufacturer. Live and learn I guess. Only buying direct, reputable discounters or box store sale from now on.

I've gotten Lattafa fragrances for $20 from rack stores, like Burlington and TJ Maxx, and gotten similar deals from Amazon. I trust rack stores, and if it's prime eligible or shipped by Amazon or especially shipped and sold by Amazon, then I feel confident that it's authentic. The one problem I've had with ordering a fragrance from Amazon so far was when they sent me Tom Ford Noir Extreme EDP, but I had ordered the parfum version, that was more expensive. I had to call and email a few times, and just told them to cancel my prime membership because I had no faith in them anymore, and they refunded my money and let me keep the fragrance. I was really mad at first, but they took care of it. That's partly why I don't mind buying fragrances from the Louis Vuitton store. I love how freely they let people try the fragrances there, and how they give you free samples. It's nice to not worry that I could've gotten it for cheaper somewhere else, like is the case with high end fragrances at Nordstrom, like Creed or PDM.

No sir my man there are ALOT of amazon sellers that are selling fakes. Typically if you see the product with no reviews its a red flag. Please look at the reviews and the seller and actually read the reviews, these scammers are getting crafty.

I bought mine at amazon for 23$ recently and it's 100% legit, so it's not true you can't buy original under 25$. It's actually pretty easy to distinguish between fake and real bottles/packagiong alone.

It is sad if happen that we buy it at the same price of ME fragrances, cause we don't have idea if the same price on any flatform and resellers between the MEF & the fake ones, so we can't depend on the prices as basis reference i guess 😔 But of course fakes obviously at a lower prices now a days just like before. Afnan 9 a.m. is faked all over eBay, it says "divaloo" instead of afnan . So really it's a clone of a clone, it smells like cheap vanilla and nothing else

I went to a store in London and was excited to see a lot of lataffa products, then when I went to try it on, the smell of the perfumes were weak and some of them made my skin sticky. I was like no way they got fakes of these clones. The bade al oud and asad bottles felt cheap and very light in comparison to the real ones.

I bought al haramain l’aventure from Amazon. Didn’t realize it was fake until months later. it wasn’t performing like the first bottle I bought from the store. Very disappointing. I recommend people to do their due diligence so they can be safe. order from sources that are authentic.

That was my experience !! I got a fake NOW for $28 on Amazon and refused to purchase anymore middle eastern items… Until I seen Lataffa having a pop up in NYC on 7/27-28. So I went to their page and ordered the new Yara Candy to only find out the warehouse is here in NY. The majority of the time I purchase my clones on Amazon, I'm curious if the fakes are making their way on Amazon but listing as average price. I would never buy from any TikTok or any other social media stores. I prefer to get free shipping from Amazon or buy from local discounter stores in person.

Amazon shipped and sold are good. There are only a few 3rd party sellers on Amazon that I trust like Triple Traders, Everest Traders and one or two more. Otherwise I stick with legit discounters and wait for them to stock up.

Ain't no way they cost $9 from the factory or $25 from a distributor. Maybe to the US where they make a huge profit. In Russia and China they sell them to those markets MUCH cheaper and they cost $2 a bottle to manufacturer AT MOST. Even at $9 shipping is $1 with subsidized Chinese postage and $5 mark up it's easy to get asad for $15. Even joma has Asad for $19 sometimes

Russian/Chinese dupes are a massive issue for Penhaligon's, too. Especially their Portraits line. So many fakes for sale on sites like eBay, Vinted and the like. Xerjoff and PdM are also getting counterfeited more and more. Pretty much as always is the case, if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. I do think the more recent the release and complex the bottle, the less likely (good) counterfeits are to exist.

Not all TikTok shops are selling fakes. I have bought many of my Lattafa colognes from there. There are some shops that are guilty. But its not just TikTok. I recently purchased a Polo Green from Ebay and it was a fake. I have read reviews on Amazon of people getting fakes as well. Unless you are buying from Macys or retail stores you are pretty much vulnerable. Thank you Neeb for researching some of these sites were we can be certain to not only get a good price but the real brands and not fakes. So, if its to good to be true (price). It usually is.
