Okay, so I have an unpopular opinion on Original Grain watches. You aren’t buying their watches for the finishing, movements, or high quality materials used, because that’s not what their business is selling. The wood used in their watches from some of their brand collaborations is what is cool and unique about them. Buying a watch that has wood from the old Yankees stadium seats or recycled wood from Taylor Guitars factory is really cool. No need to hate on the brand. I bought one of their Taylor watches because I play guitar, work in the music industry, and love Taylor as a brand. That is cool to me. I am aware that the quality of the movement, finishing, and other materials is not nearly as nice as almost any other watch I own, but that’s okay because the people in the music industry around me, and I think it’s really cool that the wood used in the watch is from the Taylor factory.

Like Nico says if a company is loaning you a watch or you have a payment plan... WHO CARES. It doesn't matter, why is the guy getting butt hurt... we know why EGO. A Fragile EGO at that. My daily for the past 3+ yrs is a Casio Duro... Needed a work hourse, and this was it. I tend to bang mine almost daily on metal monos and shelving. I have NO scratches on the crystal. A few scratches and a little ding on the aluminum insert, with minimal scratching on the case(hardly noticeable). 've spent more on straps then on the watch and Love it... Spends most of its time on a StrapCode 22mm Super-J Louis JUB Watch Band Straight End, 316L Stainless Steel Solid V-Clasp Button Double Lock.
