Abeg what about this verse????? For I pass on to you what I received from the Lord himself. On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread 24 and gave thanks to God for it. Do this in remembrance of me as often as you drink it.” 26 For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord’s death until he comes again.

Study the bible to understand it, he said this bread and this cup, he wasn't referring to the bread they were eating but he was referring to himself been the bread of life.

But in acts of the apostles the Apostles were bresking bread in different houses. I dont agree with this.

Acts was eye witnesses account of how the early church was founded, and moved from the law of moses(sin and death) to salvation by grace through faith (new testament). So you would see cross testamental application, after a while it stopped, check all through the Epistles from Romans to Jude, the practice ended in Acts

1 corinthians 11:27 Paul taught and broke bread with the Apostles. The communion is a reminder of that the fact that our sins have been forgiven. Jesus told them do this in memory of me. It is clearly stated there. Jesus also broke bread with them after resurrection. Paul warned and said don’t take this unworthily meaning only those who believe in Jesus can do this. It is more spiritual than physical

@@chiomannakife2152 Paul was quoting the Gospels by implication Christ, if you have a good Bible it would be in Red, and he was addressing something specific Read from verse 1 to 34, Paul was addressing the Corinthian church where many among them were hungry, and that many among them get sick because they have nothing to eat, and many die,In verse 22 hw rebuke them, meaning the feast had no meaning anymore in literal drinking and breaking of bread. Please as you read, Read verse 21 & 22 slowly and let it sink in. Verse 33 NLT Lord supper( evening food) How you inserted Holy communion into it is admirable.
