Halal dating isn’t really a thing tbh. It’s haram to hang with the opposite gender after age 12 (assuming that this was set in a story higher than grade 6-7) unless ur gonna marry them and if ur parents are there

Gf or bf relationships are haram because nikah hasn't been done. It means when there's no witnesses or imam to announce that they're engaged or if the relationship is accepted. You also have to mention Allah and Prophet in there. Otherwise that's not a relationship which is then haram. So the girl in the video was doing the wrong thing by having a bf. I hope that helps:)
