I was in church one day in benin city. Living Faith Church. When one church member walked upto me and said "dem nor dey try at all for dis church" I asked, wetin dem do? She said , she went to the welfare department to request for money for het rent. She said she requested for 250k for her house rent but the church gave her 200k with the excuse that they have to meet the request of other church member's request. I asked her how much she gives as offering and her reply was " I get money" her rent was 60k then but requested for 250k when she was given 200k she said "this church nor dey try" You can not satisfy ingrates

Helping the poor comes with its own risk. They are people who are very much comfortable with pity because it's their daily bread pass. You hear me well. I've grown up with people like that around me. They will NEVER, no matter how much you try, go on and work to have their own fish. And I dare you to stop helping them, they will be veryyyyyyy bitter, mean, degrading your name left and right, cursing you and your family and wishing you all sort of bad deed. It's not that I was told, I saw this with my own two eyes since I was a little girl. You give you give you give, the day you say you can't, problem. My only issue is that the pastor acts like he is acting for clout. Every pity viral story, he wants to have a hand in it. You can help without broadcasting. You can help without making huge promises that you cannot keep. A promise is a debt. Don't start what you cannot finish.
