#SamTaylorJohnson married her colleague #AaronTaylorJohnson after hiring him for a role on her movie. Their 23-year-age gap has left fans speculating on why a grown woman, with a husband and kids, would leave it all behind for a teenager. Aaron is dependent on his mother-like-wife and has been brain washed into a life with her, so, let's get into it.

I found that odd and bad too. I don't want him to cheat, I want him to leave her. People can cheat on a partner but that doesn't mean they break up once the other finds out or anything. Desperate old pervert men n women are usually still obsessed with their popular attractive crush from high school Who was way out of their league! Some become adults with a little bit of money or power & They prey on innocent naive younger people to fulfill their teenage fantasies.sick n sad but luckily it NEVER WORKS OUT LOL 😅the younger person always cheats or leaves.Eventually, I mean, if I meet you as a teenager. You have a whole decade of your 20s to grow a brain which they eventually do😅

I was a teenager around the time he started getting popular. My friends and I were in love with him after seeing "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging". We were so psyched for the "Kick@**" movies. When we found out he got married and was pregnant with a woman in her forties when he was still a teenager we all thought it weird and wrong, but people didn't really make a fuss about it on a big scale unfortunately. So sad he wasn't able to be protected.

This is surprisingly common with young actors. :( One of my teen heartthrobs was Edward Furlong, the kid from Terminator 2, and he was in a "relationship" with his 28 year old manager when he was 14. The media just acted like "wow, lucky kid!". When an older man goes for a young girl at least society has the decency to condemn their actions, but when an older woman goes for a young boy, people seem to just look the other way.

No respect for this woman. I just find BOTH of them downright disgusting! The wife needs to move on to a better life for her and her son. No wonder Grande can’t find love! Usually, the way you get into a relationship becomes a huge reflection of the way it will proceed. If it starts with cheating, it will(generally) end with cheating or will have far more insecurities than a regular relationship.

I know of a woman who set her sights on her ex husbands male cousin a few months after the divorce was final and she was 31 and HE WAS 15!!! He was still at school. His parents found out on his 16th birthday and tried to get thr police involved for statutory R and as it's the UK that's the legal age of consent and there was no proof of sex under age. Well cut to him being 37 and her being in her 50s- they have two teenage daughters and he had a mental breakdown over the fear of what could happen to his daughters as they're age he was when that woman got her hands on him. He took a leave of absence from work and sobbed to my husband that he felt like he'd lost his family by choosing her over them

Around 18:17 , ye them acting like nobody is ALSO critical of that big of an age gap with a 40 year old man going for a barely legal girl. NO LADY, we're side eyeing ALL of you. The LEAST she could have done if she TRULY cared about HIM and not just her own feelings and libido is to tell him to go out and date and give life a chance and if he still felt that way in a few years but just immediately getting together and becoming pregnant with a barely legal young man is to me VERY selfish. And yes also creepy if she knew his family and knew him growing up, super weird.

There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG with an age gap relationship... when the people are mature adults! Emphasis on adults!! We're not talking about teens. Weather he was legal or not, he was literally a teenager! That's not okay. Especially because she knew his family! That means she knew him when he was even younger. Perhaps even as a child! That's just ick AF! Now I was in an age gap relationship for almost 12 years. Our age gap was 29 yrs. Sadly I was recently widowed by my 66yo husband. He had a very unexpected heart attack which has been devastating. I'm grieving terribly. However, he was truly the best thing and the best man I've ever known. Likely the best man I ever will know. He treated me with more respect than I often felt I deserved. He never called me outside my name, never raised his voice with me, never ever treated me like anything other than a blessing. I was lucky to be his wife. Saying that, I was a grown adult when we met. I was 25. I'm now a 37yo widow. That's really the only downside to an age gap relationship between adults. It means the older partner will unfortunately die much earlier than the other. So age gap relationship are great for some people. If they're mature adults, not teens, then I don't see any issue personally.

In the Larry King interview, Larry tries to compare his marriage with the Taylor-Johnson's marriage. However, they focus on the age gap being the issue everyone has. But I did the math, Larry King met his last wife when she was 38 and he was 64. Sam met Aaron when he was 18, a TEENAGER. The age gap plays into it, but the main issue is he was a teen. So no one is gonna ask Larry King about his 26 year age gap with his wife, because she was a grown ass woman when they started their relationship.

So happy someone is talking about this marriage (grooming) never thought this was ok! I hate that SAME justification groomers give: he/she has an old soul!!! WTF 🤬 stay away from kids! I’m 40 can’t even understand what can you possibly have in common with an 18! Let them grow and understand themselves first! Thinking about my teenage son dating a women 20+ yrs old makes me mad! Later he will be her caretaker no longer a partner: think about it!

Well one thing is for certain Aaron wasn't swept off his feet by her stunning good looks , she saw a kid , that she could mould and that she could see had talent , and attached herself to him , all these relationships with younger male celebs that get married young never last. Once the men get to their 40s and the grandma they married actually looks like a grandma, they break up , Like with Hugh Jackman , Patrick Dempsey , Ewan McGregor , all meet older women very early in their careers, that where in Patrick's case she was his manager it was very Celine Dion like , and he was 17yo when they meet she was in her 40s in fact she died in 2014 she was 74 they married when he was 21 and were married for 7 years. In Ewan's case he was 21 and is wife was 27 and an established production designer , and Hugh Jackman wife she was the star in the family at first , Johnny depps first wife was an older makeup artist , he was in is early twenties when they meet . Jude's law first wife was 8 years older than him , he was 23 when she had their first kid she was 31 and had 3 more kids with him before he was 30 , Sadie frost has latched herself onto any up-and-coming guy , the father of her first child was in a new romantics band in the 80s and when his career was on the decline she attached herself to the next up-and-coming star Jude. YOU can either see it as older women seeing talented guys that they can get the claws into early in their careers , or from the perspective of the guys , trying to get their careers off the ground and attaching themselves to someone who is more established in the film industry , either way it never ends up working .

I doubt this marriage will last. Plus, Aaron's going to get tired of being around Sam 24/7. She's smothering him. He hasn't experienced life yet; she has. IMO

Hey Sloan, It's so amazing that you dive in deep to find details for curious cats like us! I am a follower from India who has stayed in the US for 5-6 years, however, if you could put some light on what a "conservatorship" is, I think it could help the context better for folks who are not acquainted with the concept. THANKS for this!

Hi! I don’t know if Sloan replied, but in short a conservatorship is: When an adult has been deemed “unfit” to care for themselves by a family member or (in Hollywood) a business associate and you are basically jailed in a home that was been over taken by people to monitor your every move. People in conservatorship are often hidden from the world until they have to perform. Kind of like the circus. Hope that helps. (I am not a professional on this matter but I’m American and read a lot o these types of subject) ✌🏽

So, I’m Sloan’s managing moderator and responsible for replies. I’m sorry I’m late on this one. Also, I actually work with a lawyer on KZbin (That Surprise Witness TV) who advocates against conservatorship abuse and can explain a little more clearly. A Conservatorship, or Guardianship in some states (some people think they mean different things, but that is incorrect), is when the court deems you unfit to care for yourself. They appoint a Conservator or Guardian to make decisions for you, whether it be medical or financial. This is usually reserved for the severally disabled or the elderly, but in some cases lately, it seems this power is being abused in order to assume control of vulnerable people with wealth, and most being celebrities, i.e, Britney Spears, Bam Margera, Sam Williams, Peter Max, Wendy Williams, and Nichelle Nichols, to name a few. It is true that the common denominator is that the conservator isolates the conservatee so they’re unable to seek help. For a further background of this legal court order that should really be illegal because it trespasses upon just about every Constitutional right in the United States, is that it was initially instated in order for slave owners to control their slaves. Let that sink in.

Thank you for getting back Monica! 🥰 And thank you for clarification. I completely agree. I think there should be a psych eval for the person who is deemed " responsible" for Client ________. As we've seen, completely unfit people, have been put in a position of power over other, with no regard to THEIR (the "guardian") state of mind and health, just say yes if they state a claim, spill some tea, and say I got this. I know that's very lames terms, but to put it short, it seems to be all it take. Completely reprehensible. The laws of who can care for another should have more guidelines a strict rules/consequences than a game show, like Wipe Out, that require a physical from ones GP. 💞@@simplymonca9608

Unpopular opinion, but hear me out. I'm 39, single since over 5 years. I've always dated guys my age or slightly younger. But there came a time i was pursued by much youger guys, in their ealry- mid twenties. I know majority of people cannot imagine this or are even grossed out and i get it. What i experienced with younger guys however, was so different than dating men my age. Men my age are often kinda jaded, play games as in not showing any affection or treating me like an option and as if I'm nothing special. Fair enough if that's how they really feel, but a lot of it is insecurity, fear and unhealed heart break. Younger guys have often been so much more open and affectionate towards me. They openly confessed their feelings and emotions and treated me with so much respect and admiration. I obviously would never accept a proposal or get into something really serious with someone under at least 25. I just wanted to share some insight that to a point i understand the attraction a younger guy can have. I definitely am guilty of that. After being treated like literal shit by men my age, it gives me solace and hope that there are still guys out there who are better. Its just a shame they're over a decade younger than me.

Personally I don't need a provider or material wealth, I'd rather have a partner who respects me and truly loves me.... and if the one who can offer that happens to be 10+ years younger than me, be it. I can totally understand where you're coming from. Obviously I don't know you, but in my point of view, it seems that you yourself are kinda jaded due to the mistreatments from men your age and feel insecure because of it? So then you resort to much younger guys bcs they have less experience of heartbreak, instead of trying to talk through the relationship with a man your age? I get that it can be exhausting, I've been in the same boat I almost gave up dating altogether. I've just seen a lot of the men counterparts who call older, more experienced women bitter, have too much baggage, etc. And to me, you seem to be the flip side of the coin. Just my two cents.

It's not about the age gap really, 40 and 60 (who met at that age) go for it, 50 and 30 have a ball, it's the fact that he was an inexperienced naive child that hadn't even been out in the world on his own. Yes 10 years is fine as long as the youngest is mid to late 20s. Honestly, I feel so bad for him. He missed out on so many young adult experiences, things that make you who you are. Breaking up, making up, cliche ass shit like dancing in the rain, being by yourself, experimenting with every aspect of yourself, your 20s are such an important time to find your style, voice, and most importantly your boundries. Personally, I'm not sure im a big fan of say 2 18yr olds getting married that young. Don't get me wrong sometimes it works out but usually it doesn't. I just hope he doesn't wake up and look around at 50 and have a nervous breakdown when he realizes he skipped a big portion of the who are you part of life. Whats he going to do when she inevitably passes first? He went straight from being under the direction of his parents to being under her comand? He's never been on his own, he never had a chance to have things happen to establish dislikes, likes, again BOUNDARIES. I think he's headed for a hard time.

As someone who preferred to date men older than me and concluded older doesn’t mean more mature…I tried dating someone who was 5 years younger than me and I will never do that again. I honestly think sticking to your own age within 3 years is best. I thought older men would be more mature and then I thought someone only a few years younger than me maybe would have more in common with me than someone 10 years older than me. The maturity levels between myself and my ex who was younger was so substantially different. I don’t see how a 42 year old balanced out with a 18 year old, especially during arguments or turning to lean and depend on him as a man when’s literally not one yet.

I’m 39.. have hooked up w men way younger but stopped a long time ago as the dynamic can feel so off. I also think there’s a big difference in an older woman feeling flattered that a young guy still finds her sexy or have a one night of fun…. But for an older person to flaunt and openly date a younger partner is a whole different level of fuckery. That age difference is NOT to be bearing love and respect and a connection worth bringing to a relationship. Not only just from the way people might view you but you know the power dynamic is off. You can’t grow and learn from each other and build love when you know it’s just a sexual fetish type dynamic ! Every woman fears her husband leaving them for a younger girl and that idea is strongly shown in movies, tv shows, true crime stories. Thank you for covering this, Sloan

I'd just like to clear up a few things about Sam and Aaron's relationship based on what can actually be confirmed and backed up with legit evidence. - Aaron's date of birth is on the 13th of June of 1990 and casting for the film began around August/September 2008, so if Aaron and Sam first met when he auditioned for the film then that means that he was 18 years old, not 17 or 19 like some people believe. - Filming for Nowhere Boy apparently began around February/March of 2009 and ended around May 2009 which means that Aaron did not turn 19 until after filming ended. - Aaron was filming Kick-A*s and had a very tight schedule when the auditions for Nowhere Boy were happening so due to conflicting schedules the only way he would have been able to audition was if he went on his day off to audition at Sam's house since it would have been scheduled last minute. - There is no actual evidence or proof of Sam knowing Aaron or his family before he auditioned for Nowhere Boy despite people claiming that they did in fact know each other before 2008. - Sam was not an established director before directing Nowhere Boy. She had only directed a couple of short films before and Nowhere Boy was the first full-length film she ever directed. - Sam and Aaron publicly announced their relationship in October 2009, around the same time that the film was released in theatres. His parents were completely against the relationship at first, but they apparently got over it some time after Aaron and Sam's first child was born. - Both Sam and Aaron have publicly stated that they had an immediate attraction and connection when they met, and that connection/attraction only grew stronger the more time they spent together. They also admitted that the relationship began only after filming was over, which means that the relationship supposedly began around May 2009. Although, people who worked with them did say that it was very obvious that something was going on between them because it was like they were in their own little world on set. - Also, during an interview after the film was released Sam admitted that she and Aaron had been living together since around March 2009 which means that it's more likely than not that the relationship began much earlier than they claimed it did. Plus, when they publicly announced their relationship in October 2009 they had already gotten engaged. - They announced they were expecting their first child in January 2010, and gave birth in July 2010. And they had their second child 2 years later in 2012 and got married a few months after.
