Those polyglot secrets are relatively straightforward to follow in language learning but, like I said long ago, mastering any language you want requires discipline, effort, enjoyment, cleverness, and strong reasons for learning it. English is my second language and still enhancing my skills in it. I've been learning it for almost 7 years, that's amazing, and I already understand most of what I listen to but need to bridge some gaps as using English. After watching this awesome video, I now have a clearer path to learning Italian in a way that will probably work. On the other hand, I want you to speak some Spanish, Veronika in a new video. Thanks for sharing this, you're a stunning Russian girl ❤😊.

Very few people understand the importance of learning the proper pronunciation and phonetics of a language from the beginning. This was a mistake I made when learning English, and I no longer repeat it. Now, as I’m learning Chinese, even at a very beginner level, I’m able to pronounce everything correctly. This is because I’ve focused on pronunciation from the start. And believe me, it truly makes a difference

Please, could you explain the meaning of the word Leverage? I saw people using it in many contexts (economic, daly life and so on) but I don't actually know its meaning? I'm native in French, I reached good level in English and I'm now learning Spanish ❤
@gerlautamr.656Ай бұрын
Hi, English is not my native language, but I think "leverage" (when used as a verb), means "to get the maximum benefit out of something," or "To take the most advantage of something".For example, she said "They leverage the silent period", so in this context, that meaning makes sense.

Well, basically, you can be included in the term 'polyglot' because you speak three languages (your native language also counts). If you only speak two languages (your native language and an additional second language), you can be included in the term 'bilingual,' but that's not the case with you. You're a polyglot because you speak three languages

In terms of pronunciation, I think I wouldn't have gone really far in Finnish, if I never learned how to roll my r's. At some point in English, I fixed my accent, which was quite awful for a decade. I think I still have a non standard grammar in English. But, at least, (most) people can't tell that I'm French. Sometimes, even some people thought that I was a Finn with a good American accent.
@brorelien8447Ай бұрын
Also, IPA is a useful tool for the pronunciation. I really recommand learning it if you are serious about your pronunciation.
