Great interview. I have one bone to pick with Peter: China is not communist (socialist). Mao is turning in his grave. China is capitalist, but with huge public infrastructure spending, which of course, is a good thing. It's so tiresome to hear people say things are one way or the other based on what they want to be true. Sorry, I don't mean to blow it out of proportion. This interview was pure gold!!!!

@39:00 Non-cooperation is a wonderful strategy. Any type of physically non-violent but intellectually violent action. I like to consider rent strikes as an example. You then understand what groundwork needs to be done. To survive rent strikes workers need massive resource pools to draw upon, so the rentiers can't just hold-out in siege mode. This is basically the same for all ways we can transition out of neoliberal capitalism. It is basically a cold war. We do not have enough soldiers, since the middle class is still too comfortable and bloated. In this case even more extreme measures are needed, and the best is subversive education, so get MMT into schools and even kindergartens. That's quite intellectually violent. Slow war, but is the most extreme violence possible to effect upon bad ideology. RPiA is doing this, but again, although this army requires fewer capital resources, it still need more soldiers.

Unfortunately MMT leading voices keep praising Biden and Harris. So it isn't helping to wake people up. Also a large contingent is busy selling investment strategies. MMT is an incredible radicalizing tool if not mamby pambied around making folks instead believe in the current system where there is precisely zero democracy to "source the vote". So this is where MMT, the righteous truth that it represents... misses. Scolds come around and correct people radicalizing for change instead of tone policing, they should embrace the rage and discontent and layer on truth. Unfortunately pwople like Warren Mosler end up blaming victims instead of the bad guys. Like Israel.
